I knew he was going to go back to Izzy. Im glad they didn't kill him off. The girl that plays Izzy Katherine she always said she wouldn't mind coming back to greys for an appearance. So maybe they can in future episodes. But I really think they show end the show. Maybe end it with zola grown up and a neurosurgeon and her stepping to the operating table wearing Derek's scrubcap saying "its a beautiful day to save lives". And that the whole show was being read to Meredith from a journal she kept after starting to get signs of Alzheimer like her mom. Or something that makes the show come full circle.

Christina B I also had a feeling for years he’d go back to Izzie , IK Katherine was leaving but the Izzie Alex saga never really had any closure, just that he pushed her away after she tried to get back with him at the end of her last episode . Then before Jo he had flings with a numerous amount of girls which pretty much proved he wasn’t over Izzie . Then Jo came on and they had a good solid relationship , but if he was over Izzie he would’ve fought for custody or something, not get back with her just like that. So I kind of lost respect for the Alex character with this final storyline. It’s awful he dragged Jo along for all these years and led her on to be the love of his life the Meredith to his Derek only to leave her instantly because Izzie has his children . I agree that it’s good he wasn’t killed off though.

Yes and then to just leave Jo like that. It's like what he had with Jo barely meant anything. You don't leave your spouse by ghosting them and then ending your marrige in a letter with signed divorce papers.

@@derekrandolph8690 it's not Shonda it's Krista Vernoff she's the showrunner. By the looks of it Shonda's only involved by name. Vernoff is also responsible for all the stupid crossovers with Station 19

A juston Chambers lo habia visto en la pelicula WeddinPlanners con J.Lo. Y luego en GGrey,'Anathomy esel personaje mas maravilloso de la serie, Justin lo personifico maravillosamente bien . Una pena que se fuera de la serie , y agradezco creo como el resto de los fans que no lo mataran , me dio un poco de enojo por Jo , porque tivieron una historia muy linda Estaria bueno verlo en otros proyectos, sea pelicula o serie . I definitely understand his leaving it’s not that it’s how he wrote him off which pissed me off. This is one of the two ways though that leaves the door open for him to come back
