I have an iphone 8 plus, an ipad pro 2020 and an Apple Watch. Im thinking of moving to Samsung all because of the lack of new features everyyear. But my problem is my Apple Watch which i am very happy with, how can i have a Samsung and still use my Apple Watch? Or should i screw that and buy a Samsung Smartwatch? Can anyone help me?

I can definitely see a durability improvement! When I had my 8 plus within a week I already had a few scratches on the screen. I’ve had my 12 pro max for more than a month and haven’t had 1 scratch yet. So far, so good!

Battery. I'm used to using a back up charger a couple of times a day with my iPhone 7 Plus. Don't need that with the 12pm.

My mag safe is fine but it get really hot. And only charges to 80 percent . Until about 7 am then starts starting. I'm using iphone 11 pro max fast charger block. I think it's only 18

There is one very important issue with both android and iOS platform is that there has to be a feature where we can switch the display off when we listen only to audio files for long hours that's will be a huge blessing to save the battery charge ! Hit like if you agree !

Man I jumped the original iPhone SE (used it for 6 years) to the 12 PRO MAX and man idk that life can be this good. This is phone is just a luxury and u can’t say enough of the camera and performance of this phone! Although this phone is too massive for me but this phone is great I’m not gonna lie!

Carbon emission I upgraded from iPhone 6s Plus to 12 Pro Max Had to order a fast charger separately Not only did this environmental reason make no sense because the charger was shipped separately and I missed the delivery and had to get it redelivered So from a single order, they had to ship 2 items (iphone and charger) three times Talk about carbon emission. Apple should just admit that they want people to but the fast charger separately It’s all business

@@adityaupalkar007 The lack of 120Hz display is because Samsung could not make that many... Currently 2 Samsung phones come with that display and only NOTE 20 comes with LTPO display. Apple is interested in LTPO only and Samsung has no capacity to make 40-80 million units for the Sept-Dec period. The notch needed as the most advanced biometric security needs more space than Samsung's 2D facial recognition system.

Coming from an 11 pro max i didn’t like it. Superchunky boy and very uncomfortable to hold for longer. Battery life was also lacking compared to the 11 pro max. Wasted screenspace was also terrible. Not for me. Switched to the 12 non pro. Much better 👍

On the S20 you can set 60Hz in the Settings and get much better battery life but still love my 11 Pro Max

I have both the 12 Pro Max and the S20+ and the faceid is better than the face recognition, but having the combination of the fingerprint sensor and the face recognition on the S20+ is still a way better combination and that without having a notch, so it's really a Big win for the S20+.

Got the same iphone and i loved it 😍 i gotta admit the battery life on this thing is impressive especially coming from redmi note 9 pro user. i still prefer the iphone 12 mini for its portability but went for the pro max instead because of its proRAW and design.

After a-half-year using, I found the battery of Iphone12max became very unstable, for example, I have to charge it very day comparing previous’ every one and half day. Also the service is horrible after I tried to contact the call center. As my brand new IPhone12Max was received through online delivery, the product looks not a brand new one after the package open and a slight gap was obvious can be seen on the top. No one responded my complaint and explained why the damages caused. Very bad service, is it because I am a New Zealander💔

I switched form a iPhone XS to a Samsung S20 Ultra. When I recently powered on my iPhone, what shocked me was not the notch. It was the bezels. I just didn't remember them being so thick.

@@prakharvyas3935 well fast charging is bad for any lithium battery, so I suggest getting the 18w even though it’s a fast charger lol but you can still charge you phone with the 5 w to save on you battery health overtime

I own Not 20 ultra and 12 pro max, and I've ended up using the note more for my daily device.. I guess it's mostly preference, or the zoom that gets ya. Night time pics seem to have more detail on the note too.

You don’t need Touch ID. What is needed is smart lock. It would be a perfect solution because it doesn’t require new hardware. A simple software update could add it tomorrow. Come on Apple!

@@vikinnorway6725 No not necessarily, if they include a converter adapter with the purchase of an iPhone. It allows for a gradual change. Samsung did it and it worked out great. Apple is just greedy and doesnt care to comply with standards. Imagine using the same cable for all of your mobile devices. That is awesome.

A gradual change over the lifetime of one years worth of products to join the world and have a united cable for all devices isnt a bad idea. I was v interested in MagSafe wireless charging but wireless charging offers me nothing but slower charging! OK when they go portless, but for now I'll stick with a cable.

Just switches to a iPhone 12 from using Samsung for the last ten years. I love the phone. I always hated the notch on iPhones but like saf said, you get used to it and I love face id. It works in pitch black environments.

@@vikinnorway6725 yess It works best through samsung pay but also works through others as long as u set on biometrics, so the billing app will take the default biometrics of your device, so iris scanner just works.

@@vikinnorway6725 as far as im concerned, face id is indeed a little more secure than iris scanner -both far better than 3d/2d face recognition-, but the extra bit of security comes at the cost of less reliability... and in this pandemic situation, i would personnally sacrifice this ultra small increase of security to be more reliable when wearing a mask... its up to you bro : )

Others manufacturers follows Apple because its like "new standart", "saving enviroment" but in reality its more about profit thatn enviroment. Later Apple will not add battery and will say that we are saving enviroment.

Apple does do a lot of shit for the environment, for example, using 100% renewable energy in their biggest facilities, and avoiding toxic materials like arsenic when their displays are manufactured. This is such an amazing review and you have made really solid points on both sides of the argument. I really enjoyed this unbiased view on the iPhone and the details that other reviwers skip at times. It is very similar to what I'm waiting for in the iPhone 13, so hopefully a big jump in 2021! My wishlist so far is: 120Hz display, using the wider BT2020 gamut, small bump in resolution to 1440p, brighter display, coating on the frame to minimise stains and fingerprints, low light video & if they go portless a higher capacity battery & larger storage options (e.g. 1TB). I'm fine with front camera as not something I use often, notch doesn't bother me as the security behind face ID is amazing! Apple is truly a trend setter and market leader, it's always great to see their presentations and the new things they come up with.

100% agree with the charging point and carbon footprint apple are claiming. Why not give the customers a choice to add or remove a charge brick at point of sale? It's a premium phone so not having a fast charger included feels just wrong

I have the iPhone 12 pro max rn. I'm returning it tomorrow and waiting for the S21 Ultra. Don't get me wrong, the new iPhone is an amazing phone but there are some things andriod has that I don't want to live without. Multitasking, picture in picture, customization. I tried the iPhone because I wanted a new experience and it was not for me. Although my favorite thing from the iPhone would be the facial recognition. It is insanely accurate and fast. My phone would unlock before I even looked at it. Also the stability control while recording video is great. But overall andriod is my personal preference

I feel ya Right now I am deciding wether or not to buy the s21 Ultra when it comes out or wait for the next iPhone late this year just for the fact that the iPhones just miss out Hardware-wise and some nice Software features as you stated. Just because you couldn't do what you used to do on an Android phone, then you could draw negative conclusion on an iPhone. It is a switch to a different way of doing things, I must say. Once you realized that, you'd be able to adapt with ease and comfort. It may take a little while just as it takes time to learn new things. Otherwise an iPhone, or any Apple products for that matter, is not for you. I must add, you are not in the position to criticize something you don't have or have not experienced.
