For Americans just side load TikTok into your phone if you don't already have it installed and use a VPN and you will have the use of TikTok once again if it gets banned in the USA or anywhere else.

Not the same.. China set the rule of having the China data store in China if Facebook, Google, X wants to operate in China.. and Google, Facebook ..etc chose not to.. so they didn’t get to setup in China Whereas TikTok abide by US rule of storing US data in US and it was running fine all the while till it makes too much money till the Yanks got red eyes.. so trying to rob Tik Tok.. So this is the western hypocrisy… where is the freedom of speech, human rights and democracy US claims that they are a leader in? At least China never keep shouting they are the best in democracy and try to teach the world abt democracy

Facebook did not operate in China from the beginning. Unlike Tiktok which has been operating for a long time in US, has a legal office, even biden also uses Tiktok.

Facebook was not banned in China. They are not in China because they cannot accept the Chinese rules & regulations. Many Westerners have got it wrong. Google is the same same reason.
