I’m getting my permit today. I have someone who is going to train me for a full 40hrs for about a week. Do you think It can be done or am I getting scammed? So all I have to do is pay $650 for the exam at a school and pass and I’m good. The guy also told me exactly what school to go to.

@@LuisMedina-yq5fd save up to get a slightly used old one. Most of the failures in trucking is not being prepared & anticipating the costs of maintaining the newer trucks with emissions regulations. I’m currently saving to buy my first truck & its most likely gonna be a 2006 KW. Watched the whole video and you are a rare gem in this industry. I've been in this industry for over 30 years and everything you said is true. The biggest draw back truckers have when trying to succeed is their own bad habits. Continue to be a sponge and learn as much as you can, there will be no stopping you. My only advice to you is to diversify your earnings. Take some of your revenue and invest in other markets ( stocks, metals, real-estate ) in the event something happens to your health.

Kudos to your pops teaching you a trade that got you where you are today. Double kudos to you for listening, learning and making your own way, parlaying your knowledge and hard work into getting a second truck and give someone else a job. Giving back so much. You are the American dream realized and you did that, it doesn’t happen by accident, it’s hard work. Stay safe out there my friend.

Kudos to you and your journey so far as an independent driver! I really love the freedom too about trucking and so many opportunities you can do in here! I was elated to encounter a fellow writer as a trucker! Very impressive on your accomplishments as a writer, I'm currently a aspiring writer myself! ✍🏾 God bless, brother!

Hey Young Brother, God bless you for having the vision and inspiration to get into a field that many don’t respect anymore. You definitely have a vision and your doing it each and everyday.. I’m looking at coming into doing trucking, but I’m much older and feel that starting the career this late in life can backfire. However, as I’m hearing from many people like yourself, if you have a vision, and a plan, then anything is possible.. I subscribed to your channel and will keep looking into the field to see if I truly want to do this or not. God bless and stay safe out there…

Good job man! I started driving when I was 21, I’m 42 now. I’ve always been a company driver, I should’ve got my own truck years ago but something is always been holding me back. It’s good to see young guys like you going for it, and being successful! You got a sub from me, good job 👍
