From day one, a dog is the strong one in the family because of the bond and unwavering demeanor of kindness and love in every situation possible. It's a growth opportunity for all of us to live with this and know it's happening. There does come a time of change where you have to switch roles and be the strong one. This presents a growth opportunity for you now, and for years ahead. Personally I think that every dog has a mission. When that mission has been completed their soul will find somebody that more needs their help, and that is a beautiful thing. I wish you and Sky the best of luck.

I'm sorry I just lost my dog. Dec 2022, he had a tumor in his sinus area . Yes, it was very stressful . I'm still grieving. I feel for you.

I have a cat “Ruger” that means the world to me, and when he got sick last October, I was beside myself with worry. Two years ago I lost my kitty to lymphoma, she was diagnosed in March and gone in June. Lymphoma is horrible, I’m so sorry that your baby is sick. I’m hoping she’s better and stays healthy. Sending hugs

God Bless, I lost my beautiful dog of 8 years last November from aggressive bone cancer....I am so happy that Sky has the opportunity to be in your lives for longer, dogs are the best friends ever!!!!!

Keep up the great work! It was a great video.! Glad you dog is in remission. Ours 13 yrs ago, we kept her alive with chemo ($13k) for a year more and as soon as we quit chemotherapy, she went downhill and had to put her down. She was a 11 yr old Morky ( Maltese/Yorkey). So it is sad when we think loved ones, even our fur babies are in trouble.

Hi, Becca, Lilia, and Sky. Sorry sky has to deal with that nasty cancer! I lost my daddy to pancreatic cancer 1 1/2 ago and I hate cancer! I'm so glad that she's in remission and I pray it doesn't come back. We love our fur babies like they are our kids and we will do whatever it takes to make them feel better, and you did just that for her. As always stay safe.

congrats on remission. In 2009 my 8 year old son was diagnoised with pre b cell all lekumia with the postaive phidelphia chromosome and had 10% chance of survival. He was wheelchair bound for 5 years and not supposed to walk but he is doing great now and walking. Continued prayers to your family. I am from Johnston RI

I'm so sorry guys!! Also I look at it as you were lying. You are a camper and a Fisher lady....in which when you do that stuff you sleep in your truck, tiny house, boat. Definitely do something with the ceiling. I would insulate and install repurposed tin ceiling tiles. Your current tailgate situation seems problematic because if someone wanted to they could close you up and trap you in your own camper. I would probably ditch that thing altogether. Have fun be safe.

I lost my 180 pound mastiff named YY in 2018 from cancer in his spleen . They gave him 6 months to live after his surgery and he lived 3 years . I spent at-least 30 k on him and quit my job to be with him every day . Luckily I owned rental property so I still had a good income to survive. Toughest time if my life . Till this day Ive never been the same without him ,He took a piece of my heart with him . The day I lost him my fear of death just went away completely,I felt like I had nothing else to lose anymore . It really put things into perspective for me .I’m a successful person I own rental properties, a small storage facility, 2 boats including a 521 ranger and all that is replaceable .my best friend is gone forever and no amount of money can replace him or fix my broken heart 💔

We all love you guys and we love Skye! Don't worry about ever missing a video, you've got so much going on and we are all here and not going any where. I'm in tears! I'm currently at a friend's house and I am gripping her dog Bella (I'm Bella's favorite aunt) and she's looking at me like "wtf aunt Cindy". I'm normally a cat person (yay for Binx!), but I adore Bella and Skye! I'm glad y'all were able to get Skye into that study and you're able to get her treated so that you are able to get hopefully many more years with her. Congrats on the apartment! It's beautiful! And the tiny house looks great as well! Look forward to seeing you camping out in it. 💜💜

Family ❤ . Always come first , and sky is very lucky to have you as parents . Countless ppl and this is sad , would just turn there dogs over when there animals are sick to the pound . I love this . Hello, We are walking down the same path with our fur babies. My heart goes to you guys with your fight against cancer. Well, like you two, my king shepherd was my service dog. Like you, I was loving him up and felt not one but 3 big masses. Our vet is running test but believes our boy has mast cell cancer, and like with you, he was also bitten by ticks. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old ,he is now 7 years old. I do not know how long my boy has or if treatment will work for him. Since we are at the beginning stages yet.
