I think the website listed it just because it graduated from YC.

Yes, YC is invested in many AV companies: Embark Trucks, Zendar, Flux Auto, Auro Robotics, May Mobility. So there is a strong pro-AV financial interest in general. As for a direct financial interest: YC sold Cruise to $GM for $1B in stock and cash. If YC still owns that $GM stock then there is a direct financial interest in Cruise.

This quote is from SFIST article 7/14 “Tan does not disclose in the video that his company Y Combinator absolutely has a financial stake in this game.
