How about testimony from her best friend and parents about her behaviour? or maybe from Depp’s sister when Amber was being verbally abusive towards him? or where she cut his finger? or when she recorded him getting angry after the death of his mother? Is there any evidence that she’s provided that show him hitting her ever? Nope. Unless you have some? You’re entitled to your opinion by a stand by my comments that she’s a sociopath based on evidence of her behaviour. Hearing someone scream at a person and gaslight them saying they’re a baby and need to grow up because she slapped them not punched them and saying “nobody will believe you because you’re a man” is why she’s got this far with trying to ruin his career and why he’s gonna win his case.

From hearing the recordings, which reveals far more than what the courts reveal, the marriage ended because it's about two people who didn't understand each other. Amber seems like a woman who needs a lot of reassurance. I've heard several recordings in which Amber begs and pleads for him to stay. But to JD, she's screeching and setting rules and not allowing him to leave. To Amber, this probably feels like a man who's not there for her emotionally, and just wants to leave without understanding how she feels. But to JD, she just wants to argue. The way she speaks, her tone, her volume etc probably seems confrontational and not productive. I don't think JD has ever been with a woman who's highly emotional. But that's how some women are. To be fair though, Amber's a little too much, but perhaps her crying when JD's about to leave is because this has been happening for a long time and Amber is so distraught. JD's cool and calm personality can't handle her needs. All marriages can work out though if both try. Amber is not every good at expressing herself. And JD doesn't understand her. Her op-ed about her "representing domestic abuse" sounds like she felt that she was emotionally neglected. Sadly I imagine that her failure to express herself clearly in marriage and in the op-ed got her to this point. Super sad. It shouldn't have to be this way. JD just doesn't get it, because thinks very differently from her. Simple case of "Men are from Mars and women are from venus"

Just because she is emotional, that doesn’t give her the right to start a physical fight and belittling him. Even the butler said AH, age 30+, was acting like a teenage spoiled girl. @@daniellai7712 Did you read the op-ed? The op-ed specifically said she was "representing domestic abuse". It did not mention his name. Who said anything about having the right to do anything? I'm just saying that's how things may have transpired. I'm not defending her. I'm trying to look at things objectively and consider other factors that have been missed. There's so little context we know, and yet people are already judging her as being evil lol. It's very hypocritical. In marriage, problems are almost never one sided. We need to consider BOTH sides fairly.

She refused to be his primary witness when he was suing the tabloid for defamation in England, that tells you what character she is. And she was putting the recording and start gaslighting the conversation. She knew what she was doing. BTW… there was no solid evidence that he abused her. Otherwise, he would be in jail. There’s no mutually abuse, because you found out she was abusing him. And you don’t admit that women can abuse men. The whole case is like Gone Girl where AH has personality disorders. All the videos she showed manipulative, possessive and violence.

He sits down and just stares into the distance while his two children are running around yelling and disturbing others. From the outset, it looks like a simple case of an irresponsible father not looking after his own children. Then someone walks over to him and says "Shouldn't you look after your children?" The father says "You're right, I'm sorry. We just got back from the hospital where they're mother died." Before you start throwing insults at me consider if you know the WHY of the situation and not just WHAT. Amber may very well be the abuser. But let's not draw conclusions until you hear both sides. How old are you anyway?

@@kathysmith4986 except nobody believed him. It was Amber who ruined his career based on what she said. He’s in court now trying to disprove what she said about him. There’s so many people supporting Amber based on her being a woman or because they’ve been in similar relationships as this but without objectively looking at the evidence. Did you hear the recordings of her? Did you see the evidence she provided? Photos of her then husband off his head on drugs or recording him in a rage after his mother died? but not giving the context? You have the right to believe her or not believe her but your experience of being in an abusive relationship has no bearing or relevance to this particular case. I’m just glad the jury seem to be seeing through her. The woman is coming to court laughing and smirking when he’s talking about trauma from his childhood and she’s copying his style of dress which is strange. Even if I wasn’t a fan of Johnny Depp’s acting, I still wouldn’t believe her based on the evidence alone. She hasn’t produced anything to prove he abused her, even her former assistant, best friend, and parents are not in support of her and that says a lot.

Most modern women demand marriage at some point. You obviously haven't been watching the trial. Through the last few days of testimony alone the plaintiff has already showed clear and convincing evidence that the op ed was about Depp, that piece was the reason why he was fired from his most iconic and finacially lucrative role in POTC, numerous testimony of from witnesses observing no physical marks of abuse, and numerous evidence showing Heard as the aggressor. It will be interesting to see the witnesses from the defense have to say.
