I feel bad for April, her mom, and grandma didn't deserve those fates, it's still so creepy because I grew up with Monster High (Gen 1) and never thought bad about or anything wrong with them at all. I just thought that they were just monster kids wanting to be ordinary teens and do teen stuff, but wow was this dark.

Monster High was actually created by a man named Garrett Sander who worked at Mattel and the first generation of the doll line (Monster High Generation 1) was released in 2010. It got its first reboot (Monster High Generation 2) in 2016 and it got a second reboot (Monster High Generation 3) in 2022. I don't think that there was any dark origins for the doll line other than people noticing that young girls were getting more into goth and alternative culture and fashion. I am also a doll collector and Monster High is one of my favorite doll lines of all time. I currently own around 21 MH dolls and have been collecting them for years, even. It honestly felt weird listening to this surrounded by my MH doll collection.

I grew up with Gen 1 Monster High & I absolutely loved it. I had so much merchandise from the series. I'm 23 now & still enjoy the series.

Cool im glad there is more monster high... I am happy to say I'm gen 1 which is crazy that there are gens like mlp i miss the original monster high... I don't check the others.
