I remember one zombie mobile game which Square Enix created. It was a Card-based game. I know it has a wiki, but the issue is a preview which had a character design I will never forget. Anyways, this genre was swarming the world in 2015-16. This game really did have a generous run which servers still continued. Some games had interesting plots that really did show betterment of writing and gameplay at times.

I played this so much when I was a kid, I looked it up recently and couldn't find it and now I've just seen this video and it brings back so many memories.

i remember playing this back in collage on a cellphone clearly not strong enough to play it. those were the days i remember fondly.

I think that what makes zombie games so appealing (at least to me) is the concept of having all of humanity against a single foe, and how there's no hiding behind military forces because not even them are able to control the situation in most of those games' universes. It's a scary situation that gives us a thrill real life doesn't. the teamwork is the biggest appeal factor in most apocalyptic scenarios to me.

It reminded me of a zombie survival game around the same period called DeadTown Survival, it's a top-down survival game with some automation aspect, the game has tons of potential and gameplay depth, too bad the developers just kinda disappeared and its google service shut down, at least its still playable today but unsupported for some android version.

Trigger warning, me ranting about a nonexistent game idea. You know fnaf right? What if we turn it into a survival horror game?? Here's my pitch. A first person game where You are in a MASSIVE complex that looks like a mall and in the middle of it is a small room that is "safe" In that Saferoom there's a empty cabinet and a chair/bed/toilet seat in the middle with a tablet on it (I'll explain that later) At day, you can wander around the complex and grab some groceries/loot from the shelves, time progresses and it progresses FAST, you can go in your saferoom and rest for the day, BUT! Spooky creatures start showing up and the supplies dwindle after every day, food, drinks, medical equipment, and overall survivor equipment. There will be these Scrapper machines that you can find in the complex, you can throw in your supplies and you will get TOKENS in your tablet in the saferoom! You can use the TOKENS to purchase items safely at night without needing to go outside, or to upgrade your saferoom for stuff like, Security cameras, better ventilation (now I'll talk about that) Here's the catch! You have to pay the saferoom bills every day with those TOKENS. If you don't have enough TOKENS to pay the saferoom bill, youll be kicked outside until you have enough TOKENS to pay the bill. And you do not want to stay outside. I call this game *The Mahall* *You like the idea? (Sorry if you actually read all that)*

I remember playing this game on my grandma’s iPad, back when I had a fixation on zombie games (for some reason.) Didn’t know it got removed, kinda sad that it did actually.

this video reminds me of another zombie game that i love a lot and used to play it a ton in my ipad, it was called zombie! zombie! zombie! (Zx3 for short) it was made i think by a company called big fish games??, it was a unique spin of the match three formula in which a wave of zombies will slowly appear and get close to you and you needed to pick 3 zombies of the same type to kill them (and every zombie that was in the middle of the zombies that you picked also died as well) there was also other ways to deal with the zombies with some stages having stage hazards that had cooldowns but did a lot of destructions, some special zombies that you could find in some stages, like a screaming mohawk guy that when killed with their pair dropped some mines that exploded zombies or mini bosses that had a ton of health but when killed will give you a special ability that you could use any moment in the current level and save for other levels, there was also some abilities like one of your survivors turn into a ninja that you had to drag to move but was fast and killed zombies very quickly, and also a tank with a minigun on it that could tank damage if a zombie got very close to your survivors, and it also had lives system but only if you lost the level which i found very good, and also there were some minigames like ones where you only use the ninja and tank powers up for the entire level and even boss fights (i only remember 2) which was a big zombie that threw zombie heads and you had to play a pong style game for you to damage them and later kill them, and there was a mutated giant american football player that threw multiple balls at you and as the other boss fight you had to fight in a pong style game. theres a ton that i remember from the game but i don't feel like writing it all in this comment but i wanted to mention it cuz i though it was interesting
