I just wanted to take a minute to say a BIG thank you to the ongoing support regarding this. As I have well and truly moved on and I have healed mentally - I feel like a better and stronger person now. What I went through really did change me in many ways. Makes me angry to hear that the producers wanted to silence you too. You survived abuse and Eden is an abusive person. The producers tried to hide that and protect him. Stuff like this should never stay hidden. Thank you for coming forward with your story I appreciate it and many many women appreciate it. It is so hard to get out of abusive relationships.

He was wild on the show. He literally tried to beat up Grant twice on an aired show. He has a kid now, i seen on Insta so unfortunate for u n I'm glad u made it out sis. but hope to god he's changed for himself and at least his kid

It's NOT small incidents that you're describing. These are what we call "red flags" for domestic violence. Having been through it myself you were right to leave before it got worse, because trust me, it gets so much worse. ❤

I’ve had similar experiences with someone just so drunk and out of control and I believe this story 100% I could see watching back how eden never knew when to stop with his violence and threats to the other boys. As a former Domestic Violence surviver myself ( 2 years married to a bipolar alcohol and drug addict) I couldn't help but my radar sort flared up when I saw Eden. I absolutely love you on the show, 100% true to yourself from day 1. I also want to add to this video is that. Yes, it is unimaginably hard to gather the courage to walk out of a abusive relationship. I pride myself for being extremely independent and strong. But I still had to be basically rescued by my family and police. So coming from my own experience, it is hard. But you just have to do it.

Us Americans are just getting around to having watched L.I. Season 1 as it was just released on HULU in the U.S. Let me just say that I could see that this show initially brought out the best in Eden as he couldn't drink too much and had to behave because of being monitored 24/7. I'm guessing he was the best version of himself he has ever been and even though he played the alphamale of the Villa for the most part, he seemed measured and well-tempered. I will say that when he had the near fight with Grant later in the series, I really saw the bullying and true nature start to come out in Eden and I actually felt really bad for Grant as he is the one that walked away so it didn't escalate whilst Eden was taunting him with the group and pilling on. I thought to myself, "Oh man," this guy is not a nice man and is definitely hiding and holding back shit. Let me say this too. Erin you are adorable and he was smart to couple up with you and clearly you saw the really good side of him as everyone else did. But in any relationship, it takes a little while for the cracks to appear. So sorry that Eden wasn't able to allow that experience to change him for the better having such a sweet and beautiful partner by his side. As others have noted, clearly he has a serious drinking problem which only exacerbates his anger issues. Best of luck to you Erin.

I can’t keep watching this. My sister went through domestic abuse and she had a court case only a few weeks ago because he beat her up in front of their one year old child. He almost killed her. Just know, I’m so proud of you Erin. Erin we love you. I’m so so proud of you ❤️

i'm so glad you were able to gain enough courage to leave him, i remember watching love island and supporting you through out the whole series since i liked your strong personality and the way you would stick up for yourself and your friends. It was really sad to watch each episode and to see the way Eden manipulated you into believing things and forgiving him, the way he acted was very similar to the way a high school bully would act, a lot of anger issues and having to feel the need to seem bigger than somebody else, pretty immature if you ask me. All the things he did were definitely warning signs, no "man" should ever feel the need to force a woman or try to intimidate a woman. I'm honestly so relieved you were able to leave before anything got worse, I will continue to support you Erin and I hope you will find someone better in the future :)

Looking back at his lie detector footage and interview, every time he spoke he looked down which is a huge indicator that someone is lying (when they can’t make eye contact)

Also Josh and Eden both live in Sydney so you would think they hang out more, kind of makes what Erin says is true and his boys are no longer his mates as DOMESTIC VIOLENCE is not acceptable by any means!!! I’m am so glad for this video because it speaks volumes for girls who have been through this. Coming from a marriage now divorced where I had someone who was drinking and wanted me to do it, and I didn’t want too and he’d get mad. It was his lifestyle and wanted me to join. Then he got really angry one night was scared for my life, and saying stuff like “Are you scared right now you better be” and didn’t have the courage to tell his family. You had the courage to speak up to them, because I think honesty is important and especially even if it means telling the truth when your scared too. Didn’t want to tear them up from his son. Was on the phone and when the asked “has he threatened you” I wasn’t able to say yes. Not to take the shed away from your story I really just want to applaud you for being strong and airing it out for us, because I know the reason you are, and your someone we can all aspire to be and realize we deserve respect. Domestic violence in any form is not okay, and it takes courage to put yourself first. It’s also not cool to be mad and angry at someone for not wanting to do the things you do, if you love them it shouldn’t be toxic air. Sharing your story and walking away from it, helps others do the same. Your a confident beautiful girl and I hope you find the best man to treat you right. I was so sad when I saw that you two broke up but now I’m so proud of you. I cannot believe you had to endure that pain and horror. I cannot imagine what it’s like to be so terrified of someone to that extent. I’ve gone through abusive with a significant other and I was scared and had those moments of “oh my gosh this is the moment, he’s really going to hit me!” It’s one of the most horrible things ever. I’ve been in a car where a significant other has threatened my life, you feel helpless...I’m so sorry babe. The extent of things in your case were brutal and I honestly can’t even imagine.
