The Tudor Dynasty 1485-1603.
Tudor monarchs ruled the Kingdom of England from 1485 until 1603, with five monarchs in that period: Henry VII, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I. The Tudors succeeded the House of Plantagenet as rulers of the Kingdom of England, and were succeeded by the House of Stuart.

I love how Henry Goes from a Handsome Kind Prince to a Evil Fat Ugly King. The Weird thing is Henry VII Had 1 Wife and Would not Remarry after the death of his Beloved Wife Queen Elizabeth of York. Yet Henry VIII Had 6 Wives who he treated miserable

I’ve never seen a more beautiful person tudor vid! The others seem so dull and the footage is put together so randomly compared unlike yours. Well done, really ! (The execution speech parallel between Anne Boleyn and Katherine Howard killed me by the way!)

4:00 - 4:01 I love this so much! it's as if Henry VII truly smiling at Elizabeth I, his granddaughter! No matter what Henry VIII did and how much he messed up both Elizabeth and Anne, but she and her grandfather and grandmother are family

What is interesting is that the description says that the Tudors succeeded the House of Plantagenet (became York) and was succeeded by the House of Stuart. Technically speaking the first York King, Edward IV, was the original founder of the modern English Royals as all rulers of England since him, 1464, are his direct descendants, except for the 3 years his brother Richard III ruled. While Henry VII was not descended from him, his wife was Edward IV's daughter, so Henry VIII was Edward IV's grandson. And with only 2 exceptions every ruler was either a child, grandchild of a prior ruler. And in those exceptions, 1603 and 1714, the new King was in direct line. King James I was King Henry VII great-great grandson and King George I was King James I great grandson. Those two were from the prior Kings' daughters, so the name changed.

This looks beautiful but feels empty you totally skipped over THE FIRST QUEEN OF ENGLAND. The one that left the biggest legacy of the Tudors proving and securing the women's rights to rule.

In terms of comparable cinematography/quality/acting, there isn’t an equivalent Mary I tv show or movie. Yes, the Tudors has Sarah Bolger’s Mary I, but she’s not a queen yet.

@@suprcme7272 but as she is the first Queen of England they were heavily hinting the Queenly aura of her in the Tudors. There are many proficient scenes of her in that show to be used as off a Queen's

I love this edit, this is maybe the Best video about Tudor Dynasty. I think House od York had much happy moments and they live their life, but House of Lancaster and Tudor Dynasty doesn't had happy moments. Every Tudor Queen die tragic, every Lancaster King were dead before they sit on throne. House of Lancaster and Tudor Dynasty were bloody Dynasty, not because they kill, but because all of them die tragic and no one had happy moment, almost every Child dead pr killed.

Well, Elizabeth I didn't die tragically unless you consider her being unmarried and childless a tragedy which ended her dynasty.

@@jamesaron1967 well yes she didn't die tragic but all of other Queens die. Elizabeth York die givng birth to her daughter, and her daughter die too, also in that time her son Arthur die. No one actually knoes how Henry VII die. I am not quite sure how Catherine of Aragon die, because I didn't search so much abot her. Anne Boleyn was Beheaded because crime she didn't Committed, her Child was only 3 years old and Elizabeth was called a bastard. Anne's Child die before they got born.Jane Seymour die giving birth to her son, and only man heir. Edward VI die very young too, I think he was around 14/15 years old. Catherine Howard was killed when she was 18, she was marry when she was 16 years old to man Who were 49 years old. Mary I die giving birth and her Child died too. Elizabeth has powerful Reign but she has no heir and Tudor Dynasty was over. Mary Stuart die, even if Elizabeth don't want that she must kill her, and than James VI(James I) start some Dynasty which was less bloody. I really can't write now about Lancaster too, but most of Lancaster Queens or wives were pretty dangerous, and Lancaster kimgs as I said die before they came to the throne. Sorry if I miss something or write something wrong. Correct me if I was wrong abot something.

@@yugonplesteodon8315 You are essentially correct except Mary I didn't die giving birth; she never became pregnant. Her pregnancies were falsely assumed. She probably died of cancer and the tumor in her womb was assumed to be a pregnancy.

@@jamesaron1967 Oh yeah I forget that. I know that some womans also were accused that they are pregnant before they got marry, but they got cancer or tumor. So many womans die givng birth so I made mistake sometimes. Thank you for Correct me
