I really don’t think of this music as “old”. It’s new to us because we’re young, ya know? And I’m sure even when I’m old it’ll still sound new to me. I think it’s timeless. I’m not a music historian by any means, but I have studied a bit of artists/groups from different eras (including our current one). Thanks for your comment!

Andrew Love jr. is the son of parents who passed for white for socio-economic benefits--- Anita Hemmings the first female black graduate of Vassar class of 1897& Andrew Love Sr. a graduate of Meharry Medical College & did some residency at Harvard.
