So many elements of the musical influences I grew up with: New Order, the Smiths, the Cure, etc. I can hear them all in this track.

I see the influence of R.E.M and Michael Stipe in the phase of the albums Murmur, Reckoning, Lifes Rich Pageant and especially in the album Fables of the Reconstruction in the track Maps and Legends in the flow and conduct of the song
