On March 11, 2023 a MASSIVE siege came upon Moon Guard's Stormwind from Wyrmrest Accord. This insane battle lasted for hours, fighting the horde out of the city and eventually taking the fight to them. It was really epic and the most fun I've had in World of Warcraft in a while.

Horde side here. Im so glad you guys did make a counter attack. When you all started your CA, and we held you at the doors, we had been at it for a while and when we broke, one of the largest guilds of the group had logged from the time we had been on. Gald to see you guys pulled a raid group together and ran to kill the horde leaders. Hope to do it again sometime, Lok'tar Ogar

That was a great video to watch. At 2:50, I was the monk that used Ring of Peace to knock you off the roof. I remember your character's death because that Ring of Peace kill was my favorite. The fact that you filmed it and put it on this video gave me such joy. Thanks for a wonderful video and showing the positives of such a wonderful event!

Reminds me that, Battle for Azeroth should be all about pvp. They should’ve came up with a feature where, you could conquer each other’s territory. It’s even deep within the spirit of the IP.

This is what i miss about the old days of wow! Not directly this, but i remeber doing "For the Horde" for the first time, charging enemy cities and causing mayham! I loved it :D thanks for upload

Drekinex the Goblin shaman healer here. That was the most fun I had in ages. Just good old fashioned PvP fun. I was one of the healers trying to be hidden. I remember I had run out of mana, and slipped into a side room to try to drink. That's when I saw everyone dying and hearing the call to retreat because the alliance pushed HARD

As a Wyrmrest Accordian (I play more on Alliance than Horde though, tbh it’s fairly even in population), I am very amused. Lok’tar Ogar, my brothers! Cleanse the filth of Lion’s Pride Inn! Though I am no expert in PvP raids, I think if you got an Alliance player from Wyrmrest to start the group then have them invite the Moonguard people they should all be phased onto Wyrmrest and you can begin your assault.

With the amount of money paid simply to play wow I’m upset that blizzard hasn’t put that money towards having more powerful servers, this game is meant for these massive raids yet it lags every time they happen which ruins the immersion.

Man. This was roughly when i stopped playing WoW and I'm on both these servers and respective factions. I usually PvP and this would be the kind of thing I'm into even on leveling alts. Kind of sad i missed this. I love a good RPPvP moment

You wanna know how to get massiv amounts of players onto another server? You need someone in your FL which has an alt on the target server who has to invite you and then you invite everyone else but you need the one who started the raid to stay leader otherwise it won't work

This was a fun event. You could see me around the cathedral before we moved out to stormwind keep. The coordination it takes to do this kind of thing is non trivial, and I hope that most of the defenders had a fun time too. We should probably coordinate more in the future.

I was there, worgen warrior of the same name, it was chaotic when the horde attacked, I was pulled in constantly by dk's everytime I made a move to attack, it was worse when the lag came about, glad we got vengeance though

Yea the lag was bonkers, I stopped even trying to heal with anything other than my aoe stuff because single target would take to long lol. Was good fun good fight!

Was one of the horde there xD That lag was crazy; but we did have a timed raid so when we bounced it was time for screenshots :) Was a lot of fun to do even the forums were a hoot for days after.

Oh, the crying is always the best part, there is a PvP Guild on Ravencrest EU which used to be on Argent Dawn EU (RP Realm) and they also got a channel, they did Stormwind ganking but now they are more or less in the shadows because their guildlead quit wow, like hard quit, but they are still around and their name is The Scarlet Scourge, all of them are undead, all are named some ideration of Abomination and they are all useing the same mogs for events or for giving Asmon a visit...

We also got raided by Emerald Dream. But we repelled them. 👍 it’s really hard to play when it takes 10 seconds for one ability to activate though.

It's extremely unfair tbh. Our Warchief stringhold is right at the entrance with an open door. SW at least has their king's stronghold far back and multiple rooms in the castle until you reach the king. 😐

noob question but how do they server hop? is it a recent feature or something(havent played wow in a few years) if anyone could explain or link me to the page(or even name the feature so I can look it up) would be really helpfull :D

Someone else in the comments explained it to me. You have someone from the "target server" as raid leader and it'll phase everyone into that server. Blizzard added a lot of cross server phasing and stuff, so you'll often see tons of people from other servers in the world.

While this was likely fun for a lot of people, it absolutely destroyed RP on the busiest RP night of the week. The usual Church of the Holy Light service was a lag fest and had less attendees than usual because people just couldn't make it through the lag. I was giving the sermon on my priest, and it took up to 30 seconds for emotes to post after hitting enter, with many "chat failed" messages. The timing was awful, as was the communication to groups that don't pvp but do rely on being able to actually move and chat for weekly events. Had we in the Cathedral group known ahead of time, we could have moved the service and avoided the whole fiasco.

Unfortunately all this is dead at this point. For years guilds/communities fight for their faction no matter how bad the expansion was... Alliance and Horde forces always found a way. Now days these communities are gone. They are literally playing pve or not playing at all. Discord servers once full with passionate people are just done. Good times. I miss this so much.

Not RP server but I remember organizing getting attacked. After that we rallied and went to kill Anduin. It was pretty neat Edited: phone auto corrected orgrimmar to organizing

@@Hopefullylast humans are yucky, they are unoriginal, Argent Dawn EU and Ravencrest EU is ally main and when the Abominations go out to hunt people run for their lifes even though horde are outnumber between 20:1 and 40:1, I play a horde dragon but I hate the idea of war even though some clapping from time to time is no wrong doing

Well, they had to invite off server to repel our forces. We 'broke' because we went home after completing our objectives. Hold for an hour, kill Turalyon, take pictures, have fun. If you got Warmide on, you ain't safe. :y Later on, some MG stragglers entered WrA and just started running their mouths for some reason in /yell.

Dude, if you had a problem with my “cowardly actions” you should’ve messaged me about it. I’m sorry attacking 100 people with 30 is considered cowardly to you. To me, it just seems foolish. We won because I was able to contact reinforcements and even the scales with an additional raid group, which then allowed us to able to push them out. It’s a numbers game, and if you’re not prepared, you’re gonna get wiped! Like, no offense, but you really don’t seem like you knew what was going on lol. But I’ll tell you what, if you promise to follow instructions instead of making silly videos, I’ll show you how to phase to Wrymrest Accord easily.

Honestly I ain't gonna try and fight on the internet here. If you'd like I will blur your frame from every ounce of this video, or remove the small section in which I said it. It was satire for the sake of story telling, and only one line in an 8 minute video. Sorta a theme of my style. Hyperbole, satire, general shitposting. Like the "dirty lag bomb" from the horde, there's clearly no lag bomb its potato servers. So in reality I think you did fine, there were a few times I did message and was ignored, there were a few calls I disagreed with, but overall it was a fun event. Don't let this video get to you I was not trying to attack you by any means. Also the horde won because their event ended.
