Way better than goblin, as a korean goblin was way more cheesy and the leads are not as good in chemistry. Goblin was slow buildup and the secondary characters shine more in this drama

As a korean we dont want reunification because of the economic effects but are fine with a level of peaceful coexistence as the best case scenario two separate koreas

nooooo do not ever reunite!!! The result would be as devastating as Vietnam, once the ideologies between the 2 nations are different, it's better to keep them separate. Otherwise, tensions and hatred between ppl of both sides would remain in some ways.

The reason I think this drama is so good is the parts where they portrayed how difficult it is for seri and jyeonheok to meet again because of the tension between their country. Every time they say let's meet again when our countries unite, I can't help but feel so sad :(

I agree, and i also felt sad when she was giving them awards and said, you can either have this now or have XXX when our countries reunite, and all the soldiers picked to have the gifts now rather than wait for the countries to reunite. That just shows how they think it's impossible/ unlikely. And another thing that made me sad/ realise the sadness of the situation re separation is when Captain Ri and Se-Ri are separated, but he texts her for a whole year to tell her to exercise/ talk walks at a certain time, and the scenes show he is doing the same thing, it made me realise the two countries are so close together!! They are not even in a different time zone but they can't even text each other.. :(

I heard they had North Korean defectors as assistants in writing, it is nice that defectors did their best to assist the writers in portraying how the real people are. Normally we hear either really grim and scary things about North Korea or really great things (when they invite influencers to the country and only show them the richest parts of the country) but from what I saw with interviews with the defectors who assisted the writing, this drama truly wanted us to think about the honest, hard working people who are just like anyone else.

I've watched a lot of kdramas but this one is SO special to me 😭 like it was sad and funny at the same time and the actors played they roles so well that I felt so many emotions while watching CLOY 🥺❤️

it's actually kind of hard to admit that Goblin must fall to my 2nd fav drama as it's been my fav forever now. But the relatively realistic story in cloy made the emotions alot more intense. And the beautiful finale with the emotional reunion/goodbye by the border scene was what I needed to make up my mind. CLOY is the best kdrama.

Everything about this series is just perfect! I love all the characters! The writers did an excellent job with all the dialogues! So so funny! And this is coming from a non Korean! Love love love!

Definitely going to miss this wonderful drama , for the fantastic acting and script , music/songs , plus the brilliant acting and chemistry shown from Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin . The whole experience watching and listening to this drama was so enjoyable and memorable , it’s going to be hard to come up with a better drama , but as I’ve been watching Korean dramas for the past few years I know one may just be around the corner because of the fantastic writers , music and actors you have . PS , I think they could have given us a slightly better ending , other than leaving us thinking they only see each other for two weeks each year 🤔 . 💙🏴.

I find it interesting that most North Korean dialect when translated matches with British english and South Koreans dialect has American english parallel. When the North Korean asked 'what's a lunchbox', when they say packed lunch - In UK it's also called packed lunch while in the US it's called a lunch box. 'Don't tell porkies' is also British slang for don't tell lies.

when you can’t move on so you just watch these videos nonstop. oh god season 2 would be amazing. also I cried a lot during this drama but I BAWLED whenever it showed the sad story of how mu hyeok died and the backstory/how it happened/when jeonghyuk found out l. That really broke me 😭😭😭😭

This drama is amazing! The best one I’ve seen in awhile! The north/South Korea aspect was portrayed so well, and not only that, also Switzerland! They found so much beautiful pieces of earth! Hyun bin and son ye Jin are perfect and also the squad! Miss them already’ 😍😍

Very moving story portrayed soooo well, they desrved all major awards in the industry. We cried a lot, very contagious chemistry. Praying for unification of the north and south, Life is Short, enjoy life. Beautiful music all throughout.

The cameos😍💚 were all actors I'm in love with. My first crush was Kim so hyun. This drama beats DOTs for me. I loved everything about it including the supporting cast

One of the best kdrama in 2020 and the first ongoing kdrama that I've ever watched and got addicted... #Hyunbin and #sonyejin are superb... Kudos to those people behind this 👏👏👏 my weekends is not thesame anymore 😭 missing the RIRI couple and the soldiers from 5th Company... The ahjummas and the other cast..... Not sick watching this in thousands times🤣🤣 My #BINJIN ❤

I miss the f4 squad (and manbok !) the most. they stole the show for me! I wish they got more “screen time” on the last episode, aka them getting to reunite with seri too . Their bond was so cute!

For the past 3 months, i kept looking forward to the weekend to enjoy 2 episodes of CLOY. No matter how busy the week may be, i feel relaxed when i get to watch new episodes of CLOY. I will miss CLOY so so much! ❤️ Also hope The Swoon can give us English subtitles for behind-the-scenes from ep13-16 too. Please please 🙏

Theyre already in the peak because of these drama..maybe they just dont want disturbing the ambience..so they have to denied it,so the media can focus on the drama not the relationship..if the time is right and calm maybe..just maybe our halucination becoming real 😊😊😊 just keep support..just like capt ri says..just wait and pray despereatly someday it can be..hehe
