this guy knows his stuff for sure and i picked it up and played pretty easy into dss...thing is the timing aspect think most ppl have probs with, its not instantaneous but time it with when kicks hit and try to time it right after for last f...with some practice and patience got it down pretty smooth but thats most things i guess.

it still took me 230h of tekken!! So dont feel bad, it is still hadr work 😂😂😂😂 Using the f2 timming confused me as the f4 timming is a couple frames later. The -> input should be pressed when laws foot is about too hit the ground, around when it crosses the other leg. Missing it by being earlier does the same move miss animation as doing it late, so it took me a looong time to figure it out. It is a timming before the phantom 3 kick and and after the absolute fastest -> input possible. So the bst way is to watch his right foot, but that still requires some practice.

I recently started playing law more than Jin so this is actually really helpful, I watched a lot of your DSS transitions before and some of the mixups that can be done. My only problem is timing the DSS and other transitions along with quick defense.

what a good video, really well explained, didn't know that 4 and f,4 damage diference, really cool, i've mastered the 4,3 DSS, i'm strugling only with the timing on the ws4 still, gonna practice the tips you showed on the video, hopefully it helps me master the ws4 dss as well, thank's gor the good video

Editing getting better and better man, nice addition to your other tutorials. I got the shimmy after ws 4 down for the most but its the (unnecessary) ws4 combos that see almost impossible. This helps a lot.

Dude I decided recently Law would be my character to learn Tekken, and as I already knew a basic combo of his I decided to try DSS legend kick, but tried it for hours in practice mode to no success. Then I watched your video and after about 30 min I finally could do it!! Thanks a lot. Subscribed!!

That is so well explained, you couldn't be more straight, nothing like "you get to practice this one" or "make it just in time, you will get that with exercise", you exactly explained the frame, that skyrocketed my combo dmg on law thanks

Thank you! Your videos are excellent, so helpful and this is great update/addition to your previous videos! I'm finally able to do WS+4 DSS semi consistently. I think my biggest problem was not doing the first b,f quickly enough. It can be done really slowly and it will still get the DFS transition and that was misleading me. Also, I've found you can also use f+4 instead 4 after 3+4,4 to consistently milk an extra point of damage from that combo. Just got to be careful to avoid getting ff+4, either by timing the input or by pressing fff+4.

know that 1 and the execution is tough, got the before inputs with the tap f then pause no inputs any kind for sec dont even touch button, then you go from down to forward sliding/rolling motion and make sure get all way through rolling/sliding and add button with final direction of forward. Just takes practice and patience so keep at it cuz move works for a few other ppl besides just mishimas and very useful for foundation.

A small tip for everyone who has a frame data feature. So after 4,3 DSS you can see how many + frames you get so if you did that perfectly then you will get +8 on block. If it comes to ws 4 then you want to do b,f input so fast that you will see only -7~-8 (depends on range) on block. If you do it too slow then you will see -3~-4 for a while then -7~-8 so you want to see - frames once to get it right and the same as for 4,3 DSS you can see how many + frames you've got, perfect cancel is +7.

I actually have a tip for new DCS learners, after you do 4,3 DSS, it's easier to do a legend kick if you tap f earlier than 3. Same with WS+4

Recently i've bought tekken 7 and I've put nearly 15 hours into training mode, trying to do 43 dss f4 as combo finisher. I was able to do it 1/15 times, because i was just simply mashing buttons. Thanks to this video, I'm much more consistent with this. Great video, keep up the good work!

to be honest I just got a arcade stick and it was definitely worth it to anybody who's trying to be advanced on their movement I would do the same you're ceiling is a lot higher I feel like on The arcade stick than it is a controller and I feel like the lever to arcade sticks help a lot when it comes to putting in those motions
