I completely agree on the use of air conditioning. Why suffer in the heat when you don't have to. A comfortable, cool place to sleep is important for good health.

I would never apologize for having small luxuries like AC.... I'm adventurous but I can't sleep being hott and I would always be miserable which in turn would not be fun. Keep up the good work!

Please make sure you install a new CO detector. It saved my parents life one time and here is the scary then funny story. They were at a campground where the trailers/motorhome spots were close together and everyone was suppose to park their backend parallel to the next camper. In the middle of the night their CO2 alarm went off. My father found that the exhaust from the motorhome next door was leaking into their motorhome so he moved his motorhome further up in the spot and went back to sleep. Then the next morning it became a little funny. Some representative walked by and noticed my father's motorhome was no longer in a nice parallel line with all the others. My father told the gentleman what happened but he still demanded that my father move back in line. The discussion got a little heated so all in the area could hear it. Then my father noticed that every other camper was being moved out of the parallel line because no one else wanted die in the middle of the night. After everything was moved the representative had to back down, my father became the hero of the campground and met a lot of great people.

As per usual I absolutely love these videos when you take something that was marginal at best and clean, retrofit and create a terrific living space. It's very obvious that you and Sierra are very pragmatic which to me is the best way to go. I often said these are my favorite videos as honestly I watch them a second time just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I agree with the lithium batteries there is nothing like them for use in this kind of environment. A little more costly but in the end they pay for themselves and there's no maintenance. Definitely looking forward to the exterior retrofit of your truck camper I'm sure it will be as exciting as the boat retrofits. Your segue to land living is a little different because I like most people identify you with the blue clear water of the Bahamas but that makes us all the more exciting. Look forward to the next episode, hopefully it's this week!

100% agree with you on lithium batteries, the total usable amp hours and lifespan of the batteries compared to lead acid or AGM absolutely offsets the initial costs, of course the other factor is that because you can discharge the lithium batteries so low without damaging them you can realistically reduce the size of your house bank by almost half, and still have a similar amp hour capacity, obviously the wattage of the batteries needs to be factored in to get the correct wattage for PV panels, MPPT's and inverter. Two lead acid deep cycle 102 amp hour batteries gives you less than half of the total as usable power but with lithium you get almost double, so a 40 % smaller lithium bank still gives you the same usable power, that's a big plus in weight, volume and ultimately cost. Best of both worlds, new Seawind on order and a 4×4 camper. Living the life. I believe the Seawinds sail really well, there are some design elements that I personally don't like, and many others that I do. Good choice for a very seaworthy fairly fast and affordable cat. What motor option are you going with on the 1160 Lite?? Integrated fuel tanks, I'd presume so and capacity??

Billy I bought a end for an hvac charge plug for 3 dollars at a supply store soldered it in and my buddy put a pound of charge on it for the cost of refrigerant. Don't listen to those people. Buy a HONDA EU 2200 Generator. By the Hutch Mountian, propane conversion that allows you to run it off your propane tank(s) or its self contained gas tank, or you can adapt a hose to allow it to draw from your trucks gas tank. Starts the first time every time, make less noise than to people talking and you just plug your truck camper into it. You are done!
