SM allowed Lucas to resign and is preparing a solo debut for him. He also has bubble. SM is a company that doesn’t fall for rumours and accusations, so no one expected them to decide to remove Lucas from NCT. But if you look on fan forums, everyday, ‘fans’ of NCT and other groups shame and bully Lucas everyday constantly for 2 years. I totally understood why it was hard for him to comfortably return to his group comebacks. I’m glad Lucas hasn’t given up on showbiz yet despite all of this, I’m supporting him no matter what because I was here for his talents and his energy since day one.

Can't blame everything on them. It is hard to get internet and social media media to courts and jail them, they hide behind faje IDs and random PC IPs These sasaengs are actually dangerous, we know of cases where they got into hotel rooms of EXO members, they also manage to hack their phone numbers... I remember back in the day, sasaengs almost killed Yunho of TVXQ by poisoning him, and almost killed Changmin of TVXQ in a car accident by following him like crazy around Seoul streets... Today' laws still can't do much against online criminals, SM in the end has to protect the artist and then the artists also decides if they can handle the psychological pressure of it all... Not everybody can handle it. Taeyong went through it for years and years... Seunghan couldn't handle the pressure and decided to retire, hopefully temporarily. Now Lucas is coming back...

Lucas himself put out a handwritten apology where he admitted to his “past actions” and “wrongdoings” (in direct response to the allegations). SM also put out a statement blaming their own management for allowing it to happen. This is clearly not a case of false accusations. SM are also keeping him on as an idol, so if they COULD defend his actions, do you actually not think they would’ve? “Videos proving Lucas’s innocence” are literally just stuff his FANS made up and tampered with to create an “innocent” narrative. It’s like watching people desperately trying to convince others that the earth is flat when everyone else can clearly see the simply truth. I know you love your idol, but akgaes are objectively not an unbiased or reliable source of “debunking”, not by a long shot, hence why there are numerous different “truths” that never seem to line up. I would like to ask you, how many artists who have gotten into scandals (even very minor ones) have written an apology like that? The answer is all of them. Especially SM artists. They all write apologies that sound exactly like: “I’m sorry for my past actions” “I’ll be self-reflecting” “sorry to my fans”. That’s how every single scandal is handled, even if the idol is proven innocent. An incredibly vague apology that means nothing and is in no way an admission of guilt. If you tried to call that an admission of guilt in a court (bc yk, y’all always make it seem like the allegations are criminal) it would not hold up. SM also did not admit to anything in their statement. They apologized for “mismanagement of their artist” and yet said nothing about the so-called “victims” or the allegations specifically. Again, not an acknowledgement of guilt. “mismanagement of their artist” could mean literally anything. To your question of don’t you think SM would clear his name if they could: no, no I don’t think they would. Do you know anything about scandals within SM at all? Most of the time it’s not even SM who clears their artist, it’s the artists using their own connections and lawyers to clear themselves. For instance, the case with EXO’s Chanyeol. SM did nothing about it, finally Chanyeol got fed up and cleared his own name. And there’s one marked difference between the other SM idols who have had scandals that ended with their names cleared. They were Korean artists. Lucas is Chinese, a foreign artist, and we all know how SM treats their foreign artists. They don’t care about him. The only reason why they didn’t let him go, I’m sure, is because they’d be idiots to considering his popularity and influence. Instead, they put him on hiatus with hopes everything would blow over and then announced his solo debut and departure from his groups after they thought enough time had passed and there were enough fans, so that they can keep making money from him. SM’s shitty like that. Now, about fans “tampering with evidence”, I have to laugh. We did no tampering other than tests to see if it was photoshopped. Which, guess what, most of it was! If you’re concerned about it, go to oooshiiiim on twitter and test for photoshopping in the evidence yourself. It’s incredibly obvious. The only tampering here was done by your so-called “victims”. (which were outed to be accs bought so they’d have more influence, marketing accs and such, is that not suspicious to you at all?) Ftttm0 especially (the sasaeng in this video who got exposed by Lucas) has been following NCT and WayV for a very long time, and even tried to make allegations against WayV member Kun after he yelled at her for buying a plane ticket to sit next to and harass Yangyang. The allegations fell through bc they were obvious bunk, and it’s interesting because they sound hella similar to the accusations made against Lucas. There’s not enough space for me to go on a whole rant about fttm0 rn, just look it up on twt if you’re curious. The main point is to say that the evidence was faked, photoshopped and tampered with since the beginning. Now, I ask you, what kind of “victims” photoshop evidence? You don’t have to believe me, but comparing believing his innocence to swearing the earth is flat is ridulous lmao. Even now he has so many supporters, and that’s because it’s so obvious it was a setup it’s not even funny. We have the motives, the perp, and everything. Fttm0 even OPENLY ADMITTED that she created this because she doesn’t like him. If you’ve watched any of the multitude of videos and threads made about his situation, you’d understand. Before I became a Lumi in early 2022, I did research into the entire thing before even stanning him. I wasn’t gonna stan if he did turn out to be guilty, and after three days of research (looking on both sides and ALL of the evidence) it became clear to me that these are false allegations created by sasaengs who wanted him out of the way. So what I’m trying to say is: do your own research. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. And don’t assume Lumis are all akgaes who will blindly defend Lucas no matter what. If I saw any genuine evidence that he was the terrible person ppl claim him to be I would not continue to support him, no matter how much I like him. And I have several friends who feel the same way. Lucas’ actions and the actions of his now ex-members speak for themselves. Even throughout his hiatus they found subtle ways to include and support him behind SM’s back, especially WayV. I trust them who have know their friend far longer and far more intimately than fans or haters ever will, over the words of a few anonymous accusers on the internet who dropped their faked evidence days before a huge comeback and then disappeared.

It’s extremely vague. Management was hoping this would suffice and end all the criticism and drama from fans but it didn’t. These fans believed a rumor made up by someone on the internet where so called proof perhaps was posted that possibly was altered. Working in law, this all was a joke and could’ve been handled by management a lot better.

That’s incorrect and misinformation. They were all worried about Lucas. Watch the documentary more closely. Lucas survived intense depression and agoraphobia, and he came out the other side of it stronger and wiser. He admitted his mistakes to his close friends in Hong Kong.

@@sadiqazia5100 I’m afraid I’ve stopped watching WAYV/NCT music vids since he was kicked out….he made it fun, not to mention the good looks. I love to watch Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Hendery, Doyoung and Haechan with those strong and glorious voices - all the other guys with their talents - but I felt like Lucas’ personality helped to make watching them acting silly….so much more fun. Ten is an AWESOME dancer and overall artist, Taeyong too, but something’s just missing without Lucas, and I think Lucas’ energy was also from being IN a group….not sure how well we’ll see that personality with him being a soloist.

it never was an apology for those bad actions that were framed upon him. It was about apologizing for exposing the sasaengs and hurting his group members in the process because of the scandal. It was already proven that those screenshots were all fabricated to frame him. He did however have to make a written apology before because SM made him do that like they did with Taeyong for his bullying scandal even though both of them were framed. That's just how SM works. It takes a lot more money for SM to pay lawyers and other workforce to prove Lucas's innocence than to just write a written apology and hope to wait for the flames to die out.

it's the truth. He was accused of being a cheater and a gold digger and even so far as being a SA'er. But all that was false because all the screenshots that were used as evidence were proven to be photoshopped and he was only having to write apologies because SM made him do that. His documentary that came out showed him apologizing the scandal hurting those around him such as his group members and friends and loved ones. It never directly stated he admitted to anything he was being accused of. SM wouldn't push for him to debut again like he has a few days ago if he was guilty of all of those things he's accused of. He is innocent and had been proven to be but people refuse to believe it even though those were all photoshopped screenshots.

no you're the one who is believing in photoshopped screenshots. The original poster who started framing Lucas already came forward and stated it was all a hoax and that she was just bored. She was a sasaeng fan who was exposed by Lucas and so she and her cult of sasaengs photoshopped images to frame him out of spite for his dislike towards the sasaengs. The documentary that Lucas was in recently was about apologizing for the scandal that was causing problems for his group members and friends close to him. It never mentioned anything about admitting to the bad things that he was accused of. He was very sorry that his group members were affected and says that he shouldn't have done what he did which is referring to hurting the sasaeng's feelings that caused them to attack him in such ways that affected not only him but his group and friends.
