What do you get if you cross a Brabus G Wagon with a superboat? The answer is the most powerful Brabus ever made! The flagship Brabus Shadow 1200 XC Black Ops has three 400hp Mercury Racing V10 outboards for a top speed of over 55 knots.
In this tour & review, Jack Haines gives you a guided tour around the biggest and most expensive boat that Brabus Marine has produced.
Based on the Axopar 45 Cross Cabin, the Brabus 1200 has all of the donor boat’s functionality with some added Brabus flair. It has a signature black paint job, Brabus fine leather, carbon fibre extras and a boosted AV/audio system, amongst other things.
Like the Axopar, it’s available in Cabin and T-top variants with the option to have some different arrangements on the aft deck, such as a sun pad, open deck or U-shaped seating area.
The optional aft cabin is accessed via a hatch in the main saloon with a separate double cabin forward that has its own private bathroom.

I’m sorry. 1.5 million Euros? Are you joking? A nimbus T11 is 1 million Euros cheaper and almost as much boat. Extraordinary

You can’t compare it, all things inside are hand built by Brabus and it’s only their finest materials. It’s like Patek Philippe vs Casio. However a standard axopar 37 is much cheaper than the Nimbus t11

@@Thjonsson1 Re-upholstering the interior of a Ford Fiesta does not make it a Rolls Royce. It's just a Ford Fiesta that almost everybody laughs at for being an ostentatious waste of time and money.

@@Thjonsson1 you absolutely can compare it. A friend of mine has a T11 and it’s immaculately built. Very solid and clearly all hand made, not much more you can ask for. I highly doubt the quality of this boat is THAT much better.

@@napalmhotdog4365nimbus boats are not hand made. I’m Swedish so i know nimbus very well. Still great quality but it’s not what it used to be. Nimbus build there boats in Finland too expect for the 405 and 365. However the T11 is also a complete waste of money when you can get the axopar for half of it. However a 12 meter dayboat is completely useless imo.

I’d rather have one of a very long list of boats that are cheaper and less garish. Then use the savings to personalise my boat rather than have Brabus stamped everywhere. It is Brabus isn’t it 😆 Anyway, enthusiastic tour Jack, thanks.

It's a bit like a pimped up Land Rover Defender V8 for the seas. I love the interior and deck finishes. Not sure I could live with the black exterior though, just a bit too gangsta for me. Could live with a gunmetal grey though, a half way house. The black must absorb a lot of heat too making the cabins hotter at night in sunnier climes than a lighter coloured boat. I'm sure it's a beast to drive, look forward to seeing a sea trial sometime.

The gull wing doors are a throwback to the Mercedes 300SL (did that on purpose) and the SLS. Supposedly. They had the gull wing even without the Brabus touch so ai think that's a lie. Also, the only way you could get one was to be invited to get one. Same thi g with most of Brabus's stuff now, especially their foray into Porsche. Nico Leonard is friends with Konstantin and even he wasn't allowed to get a G-wagen. He couldn't afford the Porsche and already owned a G-wagen so he wanted to try and get the Brabus version and was told the wait list was over 2 years long.

I cannot comprehend how small it must be if it requires this much over-compensation... Leading a herd of cows through a boat and exploding them in order to coat every exposed surface with the same depressing shade of dismal grey leather (with red accents) does not a luxury yacht make. Please spare us from any more delusional car companies who think that yachting needs these revolting displays of inapropriate excess imported from the automobile world because they have run out of ways to waste their equally ridiculous customers' money and resources on land.

I wonder how effective this marketing gimmick is.. slapping a brabus on this is akin to slapping a spiderman sticker on it and calling it a spiderboat.. does anyone really find value in such a silly licensing agreement? you can build a fully aluminum performance custom boat with triple v12 mercury 600's for this price.
