If you're looking to buy an all species boat here's a walkthrough of the 2023 ‪@trackerboats‬ Pro Guide V-16 WT Deep Hull. Lots of Pros and a few Cons but overall it's a great boat for the price. Hopefully this video helps you make a decision.

Good stuff man, I see they haven’t changed much from the 2017 model. I’m looking to upgrade main motor. How well does the 90hp push 4-5 folks? I have a 60hp and it can barely break 20mph no matter the prop. So that’s my biggest issue, torque for planing. Some suggestions for you, clearly start with graph, then trolling motor; I have an Ulterra with push button lower and stow, game changer when you’re alone. I’m running two 24 batteries and onboard charger in that compartment and have first aid and flashlights in it. I’d recommend an onboard alternator charger for back battery compartment as that battery is used for accessories on the boat unless they changed that. For extra storage I keep a water sealed tote opposite of chair in back as I use inflatable jackets, NONE of the compartments are water tight. Save money and do not buy a kicker motor as the 16’s are too small to level with the extra weight, and trim tabs don’t work for our size boats. That’s as far as I can think of for our boats, oh and the wheel hubs suck! 5 x 4.75 is a rare pattern so buying wheels and hubs are ordered not in store. I’d recommend buying a spare wheel/tire and extra wheel hub with bearings

Those lines/marks on the hull are welds on the inside of the hull. Not an issue. Great video. Looking at one myself. Does your Mama know you drink every day? Lol

Thanks! Would love to drink every day but I have work during the week so I save it for the weekends when I'm fishing. Maybe when I retire. LOL

They are good for the average non-tournament fishermen. I like mine but wish I went bigger.

@@mvboutdoors no, the 16 handles fine. It's the lack of storage and having more than 2 people on the boat gets crowded. Just need more room.

Nice walkthrough. I had a similar Tracker10 years ago and it was the worst boat I've ever been in. I had so many problems. Sure hope the workmanship has improved. Thanks for sharing

Now that I've had it for the a few months I can honestly say it hasn't. But I understand it's a budget boat and there will be some flaws.

I meant like the workmanship, which you agreed not being improved. Where is this low-ish quality seen in?

@@ollivihermaa Yeah there are lots of plastic parts. The storage compartments always feels like it's about to collapse. The welds aren't smooth and the steering is hard. But it's a budget boat so you get what you pay for.

i have a 2019 model i love it . But I cant figure out how to drain the cooler and its missing the bucket in the live well . Also what bimini top should I get ?Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure about the 2019 model but in mine all I have to do is pull the plug in the cooler. You can order another bucket online at Tracker’s site. As for the the Bimini I can’t help you cause mine came with it. I’m sure you can order one on Tracker’s website.

Having the livewell and TM battery in the front is nice. That should really help your boat plane out when loaded with ur buddies. Congratulations

That's a Beautiful Boat. Thanks for the walk through. Its a Perfect size for getting on the water. But I have a Question, do you find it a little under powered? Do you wish you would have gone with the 90 HP?? Thanks again and thumbs up.

I mean sure I would like a bigger engine but 90 is good for what I do. It does take a little longer to get to the hot spot but I was on a budget.

Does the V16 fit straight in the garage with the trailer? Or do you have to tilt it to the side a bit?

In my garage it fits straight in. Have lots of room when I fold the tongue.

I did. For the most part it works pretty well. Every once in awhile it goes crazy and spins in a circle like it's possessed! Have to unplug it real quick and plug it back in. I would say at least 5 times in an 8 hour trip. Not sure if I have enough content for a video.
