Welcome back to Maine Travel Dons! I have returned to Bar Harbor, Maine for some unfinished business. In this video I am taking you on a Lobster Boat Tour with the Bar Harbor Whale Watching Co. Joining me is my old buddy Tim Crowley who will be our guide on this journey. Come along as Tim teaches all about the lives of Lobsters and the fishermen who catch these delicious delicacies from the Sea.
You will also get to see one of Maine's most beautiful Lighthouses and catch glimpses of the local Seals as well. Along with panoramic views of Frenchmans Bay and the gorgeous cliff views of Acadia National Park, this tour is truly worth every penny

Not only do you get an awesome boat tour along this magnificent coast, but then you also have lobster involved too!! That sounds like the perfect way to spend the day to me! Maybe a little wine wouldn't hurt either!

Egg Island and the seals were definitely an added bonus to your tour. So funny the lobster on your head haha Your lobster roll looked delicious 😋

Going out to catch lobster was quite the experience! Very cool that they are regulations in place to have a sustainable process to ensure lobster stay in the wild. And had no idea that they didn't provide many nutrients.

Yeah they are almost all protein, low in calories so healthy in that way but, they eat the trash of the ocean.

I took my oldest son on Miss Samantha about 8 years ago. With all the time we spend up there, I had never been on a tour boat! So much fun. We saw whales, puffin, seals and of course hauled in some lobster. Such a great tour and very well done.

@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon I don’t think it was part of Bar Harbor Whale Watching but I could be wrong. It was a tour out to Egg Rock.

That’s pretty interesting fact, didn’t know that the Majority of the Lobster comes from Maine, the boat ride looks very cool and catching Lobster is always fun

Yeah if you ever go down to Stonington Maine that is where a majority of Maine lobster is processed.

Wow, I never knew that lobster eat each other. Being able to hold and take photos with the lobsters looks like a fun experience. It's interesting to learn about how the lobster traps work.
