I keep telling people throw that spinner, chatterbait, buzzbait into the cover because fish never see it in the cover. Everyone is so afraid of snagging but the reason i catch so many and so quick is because I risk it.

Hello Mike my favorite favorite rods are a 7 foot medium heavy spinning and bait caster rods and a 7 foot heavy spinning and bait caster reel for saltwater pier fishing 🎣

Could you use a piece of worm inside of the tube to keep it on?

It could help and add some weight! I think super glue will still work best though!

SHHHHH!! Tubes are terrible...😂🤫 Tubes are the most over, & under appreciated soft plastic. I use them for literally everything. Awesome Tip IKE

The tubes are a old school trick shhhh stop telling all our secrets 😂. You can also use a tube on a spinnerbait and bass dint see that often either especially in the south.

I have bought several of these 1/4oz molix lover buzz's since you made this video Mike. They certainly are not a well made bait for the price. Had 3 out of the 4 break and havnt caught a fish on any of them. The rivets on the back simply break in half after a little use. Tried contacting Molix but no dice. Definitely will not be purchasing these again, the strike king ones are better for the price.

Are buzzers only meant for dirty water?

No buzzbaits are for clear to muddy water. Whites for shad lakes and black for bluegill lakes. I do prefer a little chop (wind) on the water due to that makes the buzzbait a little less visible to the fish. They react to the sound and disturbance of the water more then. Every pb I've caught for the last 25 years has been on a buzzbait lol love a good buzzbait bite and day

Rip lips! Ike - go to Sylvania by Watersmeet, Mi. Canoes kayaks only. Catch and release smallies. Huge. Glacier fed 30+ lakes, portage to and from, best fishing in the Midwest easily, but it’s not easy. Take your family, I grew up there, it’s an immaculate fishery, nothing has been touched, ever. Amazing place.
