Technically I went to 5 bike parks, not 4. Didn't go well at Dyfi. I may have mentioned that already on my channel... 😅 @CanyonBicycles Kudos, this bike is radical 👌🫡

Great review, subbed. No word about that sick bo'le'o'ter inside the frame though. Looks crazy!

Thank you buddy 👊 The water bottle in the frame some people love, some people don't. I like it though 👌

Great vid. I’ve had the CF9 since June and we do similar riding, some park, some tech, lots of local. Totally agree with it all! Weapon of a bike.

Great video and bike. I’ve been debating to buy a Torque or a Strive but think the Strive will be better suited to my style of riding, I’m not as adventurous as you, you were killing it 👍👍. Definitely true about the lack of content based on this bike.

Thanks buddy, if this video helped confirm it’s not the bike for you, glad it helped in that way. The strive is very similar so you won’t go wrong 👍

Nice jumps, hopefully it’ll help me also jump better. Are you using everything from stock build or have you changed something?

Thanks for the comment buddy 👍 suspension is the same as the stock build, changed the bars/stem/wheels/drivetrain/seat post though 👍

I have the same bike and I wanted to ask how the cables were routed in the frame or how did you get the cables out with the old gears??
@ForestMountainBiker9 ай бұрын
Hey buddy, it was easy removing the cables, just pulled them out, because I then fitted a wireless dropper and rear mech, I didn't have to worry about re-routing cables back through etc. The cables through the headset cap compared to out the frame didn't make it any harder 👍

Would you, by any chance know we’re I could get a torque on cf from, because they are sold out on canyons website but I was wondering if you might k ow a place we’re I could get one from? Great riding thought, keep shredding🤟

I'm thinking of purchasing one of these myself... I noticed you said it comes with an ep8 motor and on the canyon website it states ep8 but in the description on the site also says ep801. So I'm confused as to wether its the ep800 or ep801 now... i would love to take something like this on sherwood pines
@ForestMountainBiker3 ай бұрын
Mine is the ep8 original, but Canyon now is the ep801 on the newer models 👍

Nice video, how tall are you and your weight?? Any chance you could share your suspension setting??
@ForestMountainBiker9 ай бұрын
6 foot and 13.5 stones (with kit on and after a big breakfast 😅). I'm around 105psi in the front fork and 200psi in the rear shock, and use the rebound settings fox suggest for my weight but add a couple of clicks towards fast and always an finish on an even number (never an odd number 😅). Hope this helps 👍

I am thinking about getting this same exact bike. Does it struggle on technical climbs with low BB? Or does it do ok?
@ForestMountainBiker9 ай бұрын
I have had a few pedal strikes, but the low BB makes it rail berms so... 🤷♂️👍
@norts9169 ай бұрын
Should make them with the bosch motor
@ForestMountainBiker9 ай бұрын
Fair, that’s the trade off 👍 The Strive has the bosch so guess Canyon may use on their next one
@Johnvdubable8 ай бұрын
Hi. At 6 foot you just squeeze into a large. Did you do that or go medium? I'm between small and med and not sure which way to go.
@ForestMountainBiker8 ай бұрын
Size up for stability and down for agility. I went with stability but that’s your choice to make buddy 👍
@bonntec8 ай бұрын
@@ForestMountainBikerThinking about buying this bike. At 6 foot, did you get size XL? I'm 6.2, kind of in-between sizes and based on reach L is 500 and XL is 525 , XL seems too long for me....
@ForestMountainBiker8 ай бұрын
@@bonntec I went large and I’m happy with the fit/ride 👍 I think a large would be okay for someone a bit over 6 foot but it’s rider preference of course 👍👍
@bonntec8 ай бұрын
@@ForestMountainBiker thank you for your feedback! One more question about BB. Some ppl say it's too low and they hit pedals. Do you find it too low and what cranks length on this bike? Thank you.
@ForestMountainBiker8 ай бұрын
@@bonntec Yeah it is a low BB, I’ve got the stock 165mm cranks and have had some pedal strikes, but I can live with that as the low BB also makes this bike handle amazing on berms etc 👍
