The carbon roof is not a competition model special nor is it really even an option. It comes on all E92 M3's without the sunroof option. I don't recall a slicktop option with the metal roof either, unless he's talking about the E90, which wasn't available with a factory carbon roof.

The headlight washers are part of the BMW cold weather package option which also comes with heated seats.. you could also order the car with heated seats alone so you don't have to deal with that ugly headlight washer

I was telling somebody the other day, there will never be another v8 m3, v10, m5/6, ever again. The fact that a v10 6spd sedan car that is F1 inspired and goes 207mph STOCK is crazy! In what world did we live in around the early 2000s.. we must of had the best people working at BMW ever. I mean even the new turbos are nice but a high revving NA all motor BMW is just something not to miss out on and both the V8 and the V10 just pull and pull.. redline comes but you've been smiling so hard from 2k RPMs!

If ever you feel useless remember, it is someone's job to install turn signals on BMWs.

i've seen several factory phönix yellow Z4 E86 + E85 and they also looks not quite the same as the e46. The E92 pictured here looks more like those (in picture).

E46M is the greatest whilst E90/2 is the last M car, the turbo charged M car are great but the NA are a little greater!

I was told that the e30, e36, e38, e39 and e46 "smell" was the sound deadening that is bonded to the metal body panels, because it's almost the same as the crayon wax smell, and the deadening is very similar in composition. If anyone knows what it actually is, or if what I've been told is correct, feel free to let me know!

Amazing collection, but no matter how much e9x and E6x owners try to sell everyone the idea that tearing your engine apart every 60k miles is "maintenance".....you aren't selling 😆

the one of 2 makes sense in a way. It's not number 1 of 2 total, it's just one of the two cars, could be either the first or second. also, the ambers on the bumpers are not cornering lights, just reflectors. So if you wanted an entirely clean front end (or rear bumper) you could get a euro bumper without headlight washers and swap it out.

The M-technician in me starts to sweat thinking of all those cracking plastics. and bearings. and awful battery electronics. I also dreaded the e90's for the harsh ride. but when everything works its an ok car for 12500 - 20.000$ . But thats about the trade in they are worth. paying 120.000$ for a 10year old e90 is utter stupidity.

Combustion engines aren't going anywhere anytime soon dude. The tech isn't there for mass production of AFFORDABLE RELIABLE EVs. It’s all about politics and control in which I don't buy at all. It's BS. People can barely afford used combustion engine commuter cars...its unrealistic and car manufacturers will lose.
