E91 Finally Got some better sounding speakers with a simple head unit upgrade. Also, now I can log and check parameters thru MHD on the head unit itself which is very convenient.
Steering wheel and the door cards are making the interior one step closer to having a full black interior which is coming real soon.

I just installed a similar screen on my channel - the company that I got mine from, it's bezel covers the aircon and the screen - much cleaner fit

Not sure if you ever had heated seats but you can swap out the a/c panel for an LCI one with heated seats button on it to keep the function

Do you have logic 7 system? mine works on my e92 with hi-fi, but no sound on my e90 with logic 7.. I clicked the link for the headunit, but no mention of the logic 7 issue in the description 🤔

if its not flush its a no go for me! i've seen much better... How can they design a bracket to sit so bad with so much space behind? Everything sticks out too much for me, the climate controls sits so bad... Good video anyway 💪

Def agree. The BimmerDirect kit for non-drive cars is a lot better. Once you're done it looks like it came with the car.

The Problem i have with this is the position of the head unit. There should 1 that i can fix up top and not that down. Who even drive using Navi that low . Not good for navigation for me

Check the fiber optic cable and amp wire needs 12v switched source of power

I put one of these radios n my 2008 R93 and the clock will not stay correct. Do you have this problem? Also, the Aux input does not recognize anything plugged into it.

I had the clock problem, had to swap to a unit to goes on top of the dash, aux input not recognizing anything is either your plug for aux or ULF module is down

nah I feel like people just hate on cutting single humps, I did it and everyone that gets in the car always think it’s a newer car mainly when they seat inside and see the screen. Specially when you have the silver trim on black interior timeless design, imo looks less aftermarket than any other upgrades

Broo that looks too aftermarket not tryin to pick on the car but and Ik I costs a chunk of change for idrive but it just fits the car right it does look cheap
