I discovered this channel last week. Since then I have watched probably 1000 videos, fallen quite intensely in love with James and then also Mike, thought that maybe I was the only one, read the comments, discovered that there is quite a long queue for either and/or both, eaten way too much, starting thinking about doing a 24 hr food marathon in my city, and done precisely 1 hour's work on my PhD.

I want to see an Ultimate Mise en Place Battle, like they sometimes do on Top Chef. There's set number of precision chef tasks (dicing 10 onions, turning 5 artichokes, etc) that they each have to complete, with Ben or James checking if they've done the task well enough to move on to the next one. Whoever finishes first wins!

it's 01:50AM (I really should be asleep) and I'm now going to bed wanting steak! Bugger... loved the concepts tho :D

That was actually pretty darn mean when Barry told Jamie to “lose some weight” because Jamie said it was hot and the fact that Barry doesn’t turn the burners off adds to the unnecessary heat in the room and like right where they’re working.
