I'm really surprised you didn't talk about the "Scale with Resolution" option. I found that it makes mine super blurry and that turning it off gives me a much more crisp, precise-looking crosshair.

I REALLY like an empty circle crosshair with Reaper. I just put enemies in the green circle and hold left click until they're ded :)

I remember back in the days around maybe season 6 or 7 I changed my crosshair and I jumped from 2200 to 3100 sr. But I think it was cause I changed to the gold torb icon.

I know this video is almost a year old but for anyone reading, Hanzo, Symmetra and some other characters have specific settings for them with their crosshair. My hanzo crosshair is a slightly separated cross but as you pull on the bow string, the crosshair tightens to a very small cross. Symmetra is a dot and when you charge right click, a circle appears and grows in size to show how charged it is. Make sure to check the advanced settings for your characters.

@@ran3030 I have hanzo set to crosshair then go to advanced and turn on "Show accuracy", you can do the same with circle but it doesn't look as nice.. Symmetra I have a dot and then I turned on "show accuracy" but you can do circle, crosshair or dot for symmetra and it will still make a new circle whenever you right click.

In all actuality... if it's somewhat a manageable crosshair then whatever works for you works. People need to stop crosshair shaming. They'll mock a crosshair that might be a bit "abnormal" but when someone has a crosshair like that junkrat they're fine with it.

Mabey the game should have a two way swap between light and dark. So I'm in a light area and then I move into a dark area... the game should auto swap out my crosshair color preferance for both lightings.

I play projectile when I'm not mercy, so I like the dot with the circle. Can help lead moving targets much easier if you get the right radius on the circle

On Hanzo i got the standard one. You can predict the distance better, because you have more of the crosshair to work with when flicking. Apart from that i use a dot or a small cross. And it is not true that most hanzos above GM have small crosshairs. It depends what the person prefers actually.

There's also the fact that, when you aim with the crosshair's center of mass (like when you aim in a hurry), you'll more naturally arc your shots

I am sick of this whole shit, devs should make decent fixed crosshairs for every character, maybe with a very little costumization like color; so then tryhards wont make advantage out of boring and long finetuning. Man I don't wan't to decide how much opacity does the outline needs, but at the same time I'm sure that the basic crosshair sucks for most characters. Fuck this!
