Yeah I hear ya. I thought about it alot before the ETH Merge, but didnt want to be involved with other ppls gear going into uncertain times. But now that we're in the bear market, anyone whos mining now, knows how rough it can get. SO maybe time to consider it again. Thx for the comment! 🤜🏼

I was both ASIC & GPU mining at the time, and before the bear market came, mining profits paid off about 85% of the entire cost. As of this moment the building itself has about a $3k balance on it (paid by monthly payment), but everything else, All electric install costs, building materials, and mining hardware you see inside, has been fully paid for by mining profits.

Try to keep as much of it on a US Based exchange as I can (like CoinBase) which keeps track of all mining/buy/sell prices. Makes taxes easier. Also use crypto tax software like TaxBit. Then report taxes as normal.

No its not that. Its that I dont think its wise for a small miner to play the same game as huge corporate miners with millions of dollars in miners and a power rate that is 25% that of a residential rate. Im much more likely to win as a big fish in a small pond. Also ASIC’s have horrible electric efficiency, and I want my farm to be very power efficient
