Many thx, I appreciate it. To be honest, I would love to be one of those KZfaq Creators, who produces gernerally less, but then the best quality I could possibly achieve. The problem is, that it is so frustrating to see a video, I spent months to create, getting just a few hundred hits.

This just great. I was about to design and build my own top-tier-like slider. I was looking through youtube about sliders and significant details. But now I think I'll be ok with wooden thing and bearings from hardware store. Your video has a good point.

Great video and amazing DIY. Beautiful woodworking skills too!. I'm going to build my own 4' motorized slider for my FS7 rig using a high hat, skateboard wheels and aluminum rails based on your design. Love the cordless drill motor. Great idea and craftsmanship!

I tried before to figure out a way of how to motorize a slider for cheap and without having to build some motor and all but it is an ingenious idea to use a power drill! I want to make this or something like this so badly. It has been an honor and a pleasure to watch this and I am so excited to check out some of your other videos! I'm going to say I love the way this one looks and works. Adding in a way to use a drill to give it motion a brilliant as well. But being the mad scientist I am I do see some room for improvement. With a stepper motor, some limit switches, a timing belt and, a controller like an Arduino. You could have this doing the exact same motion repeatedly over and over. With a little tweaking on the camera mount as well you could even do Motorized pan and tilt. Probably for way less than a production slider. Absolutely awesome video and it leave plenty of room for improvement as needed.

Everyone keeps commenting on the video production quality (which I'll admit is excellent.) But we all came here for the build. This is a very well done, very stable and robust piece. I'll admit, I always question the accuracy of centering things like washers and such by hand. But you seem to have done a great job.

Also dieses Video wurde in Adobe Premiere Pro im H.264 Codec mit VBR-Kodierung gerendert. Dabei 45 Mbit Zielbitrate und 50 Mbit Maximale Bitrate. Hoffe das ist hilfreich...
