Күн бұрынThis is my extremely massive and comprehensive tribute to Eminem (as well as Dr. Dre obviously and anyone else he has collaborated with over the years for that matter). This is certainly the biggest project I’ve ever undertaken for the piano. This medley was obviously a LOT of work that took many months to learn, arrange, record, and edit but the end result was well worth it. There are 100 songs here that span Eminem’s entire career. I tried to give more focus and time to each song which is another reason why this medley is so long. Every song is in its original key and I would say about 80% of this medley was learned by ear. There is no sheet music available for these arrangements unfortunately.
There are some mistakes here and there that I wish I could have back obviously but overall I think the medley turned out pretty well. My imperfections aside, I really hope you guys enjoy this medley as much as I did creating it! The sheer volume of this medley is a credit to Eminem and his discography so far. It truly is amazing how many good songs he has produced, and this doesn’t even do the lyrics justice, which are on another level by themselves. Thank you guys for all of the support! Encore and Careful What You Wish For are very underrated songs in my opinion, the latter probably being my favorite song off of Relapse not named Beautiful.

Probably going to record Parts 9-11 all at once and then upload them separately but around the same time. So it might take a little bit but at least you guys won't have to wait long between the rest of the parts. 30 songs left for a total of 96 at which point I'll just be waiting for Eminem's new album for which I'll probably do a Part 12 when it comes out. In the end this might be a 100+ song medley! O.O

There's definitely potential there. I think I'm gonna take a break from rap music though after this for a while because I have an absolute ton of other music that I want to learn and play that I haven't really gotten a chance to since I've been putting this together for the better part of a year. That's not to say I will never cover other rapper's songs but I am making a tribute to this extent for Eminem because he is the most inspirational rapper out there to me and I wanted to do something original and hopefully give him and Dr. Dre a shoutout in the process and to have others really appreciate the music behind his songs. I created this channel to learn and record cool piano covers that I wanted to learn, not necessarily what appeals to the masses. So with that being said, who knows what kind of music I'll feel like covering months from now, as long as I'm having fun playing and you guys are enjoying the content. This channel will have varying types of music from all kinds of genres, which should keep me busy for a really long time haha. That's more so what it's all about for me so who knows. :)

Wasn't planning on it but I just gave it another listen and I think it could work for piano. I'll try and squeeze it in but it might not be until Part 10. That's the limit though, if I keep taking more requests I'll never finish the medley haha.

lmao don't worry about it. It's a good song. I think I can squeeze it in. Not a big deal. I just know that there are bound to be songs that aren't going to be included simply because I'm not covering his whole discography and if I keep adding songs I may never finish this medley lol. It might be hard to believe but this medley actually started out with less than 30 songs so you can see where I'm coming from now that it's going to be like 94!

You might be right but part of the fun of arranging these is trying to connect them all with some form of transition! I find for rap songs that a medley works better on piano because that way it doesn't get too repetitive just playing a backing track for one song.
