I completely understand their statement regarding top speed between the two models. If you increase the voltage going to a motor you’re going to get more top speed. The same can’t be said with pumping 3000 watts into a 600 watt motor like most chinese manufacturers do, which for one can damage the motor, and 2 will only logarithmically increase the acceleration and WILL NOT have anything to do with top speed.

I think Splach really did a real disservice to itself & potential shoppers with the Turbo "Plus" moniker. I'm a fairly technical person but had to watch the "performance" portion of the video a 2nd time just to understand the discrepancies being described relating to performance vs. range vs. voltage. I get it it, the battery compartment is only so big so if you want to increase range without changing the size of the battery compartment you lower the in-series cell count, thus lowering the voltage, then raising the in-parallel cell count thus increasing capacity. What they should have done was increase the size of the battery compartment by the dimensions necessary to meet the desired range increase. It's actually somewhat deceptive by Splach because I doubt the average buyer will know that the Turbo "Plus" is the lower voltage, slower accelerating, slower top speed scooter. They'll advertise that the motor is the same (which it is) and has a higher capacity battery (which it does) but then not mention the voltage as it's beyond the average scooter buyer's understanding. What other scooter company is lowering the voltage of a "Same model" scooter to get additional range? Splach decided to save money and use the identical chassis rather than making dimensional changes to the Turbo "Plus." They could have lowered the chassis floor by 14-16mm and put an extra row of cells down there and left it 52V. What would this have really cost in design and manufacturing $50 bucks? Sure, you lose a small amount of ground clearance but it's a small price to pay vs having a slower scooter with a "Plus" moniker slapped on it. These should really be two different models.

would this be good for a 260lb rider with maybe 20-30lb of groceries? or what would you recommend? looking for something lightweight to get around town round trips around like 5 miles max

Is there a size difference between the turbo and the Twin? Dimension wise? I have the turbo but planning to upgrade to the twin. I just want a quicker and faster. The turbo top speed for my 175lbs weight is 22mph. I want to really get that 28mph. But also want it to be able to fit my car trunk.

The listing linked in the description doesn't mention turn signals. Only the Turbo Plus listing does. Does the regular Turbo not have turn signals? Your video and written review says it does, so I'm unsure if their listing is just not updated for the new version. Looking to confirm before buying.

I've had my turbo since 2000. The only complaint I have is that it slows down more than I like on some inclines, and the battery life seems to have dropped off after a few hundred miles. I still thnk it is excellent for the price and love the 2 charging ports and swipe card to turn on power.

I have the vsett 8 with the bigger battery. My complaint is the suspension. Way to soft my liking. I do wish it can go a tad faster. Also I hate the rear tire. That hard tire sucks in wet conditions. For the price, It’s not bad though. I ended up giving it to my oldest daughter and I bought the eagle one for me.

Just tried ordering says can't be delivered to UK checked there shipping info says 180 dollars for UK delivery and 30 to 45 days delivery and u have to contact them so guessing the 50 dollars online sign up goes out the window and then u will probably have to pay shipping tax on top states on there website shipping tax added on payment😂

Stay away from this product, Its a real nightmare. not reliable at all. it will brake every time you take it out for a ride, either get a flat tire (their solid tires tend to crack within a week very light use) brake issues or controller errors. It's a waste of money and time. please guys stay away from this piece of junk. it made my life miserable. they dont respond your claims, very unprofessional. do yourself a favor and deal with american brands only. also order a new controller had to wait close to a month just to received a non-function controler. this company is a joke, big joke.

Shame about the weight, deck size, and small wheels. I think scooters with wheels that small should at least have the advantage of being lightweight. 🪶
