TODAY my editor ‪@BeLikeCharGar‬ put together a custom Smash Bros. trivia quiz where I have to answer if a statement is FACT or CAP. There are a ton of things I can tell you about Smash, but the trivia details? I know Samus is a girl does that count?? This will be a good time though, and that's a FACT!

To explain it for real: Byleth has the worst like to dislike ratio, but was also not as big of a reveal. Sora was way more famous, so despite having a higher like to dislike ratio, it ended up with more dislikes than Byleth.

Deep down I really hope I am wrong but with all these new companies trying to actually be competitive platform fighters we can see Goku in something similar worth playing and let Smash be special in being a the greatest gaming collab

I honestly don't know why some people where hoping for Goku in Smash. Like, what? Smash is a crossover of game characters. Not movies, not animes, not light novels, games!

ROB isn't exactly a game character though. Mr G&W kinda isn't either. And let's face it, these aren't rules. They're conventions for ease of use but if it'd be hype to do it, Sakurai would break them. Sora is one proof of that.

@@ChaosSolak Sora is a game character. GnW is very much so a game character. R.O.B isn't a character at all. He is a toy, and pretty much the only reason is in is because Nintendo owns him.

... Did I ever say Sora wasn't a game character? The problem with Sora was Disney holding copyright. The speculating scene dismissed Sora because of that. For Min Min, they dismissed her because she was a spirit. Sephiroth hadn't been considered because of how many IPs Square Enix can pick from. Today, lo and behold. Sakurai doesn't give a damn. In this game, we have a litteral toy as a fighter! Wii Fit Trainer is yet another oddity. He even introduced a "generic monster" (which is actually a conglomerate of several piranha plants). Again, if it'd be hype, Sakurai would do it, no questions asked. Those rules are restrictions speculators have arbitrarily imposed, but they have little impact on actual decisions. As for Goku not having a place in gaming, I think you've missed some VERY successful Dragon Ball games. Not to mention the insanely iconic status Goku enjoys. Not even the likes of Naruto can boast to having had the same impact on global culture. And Bandai Namco publishes those Dragon Ball games. Given all that, I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Goku be yet another oddity to the roster. Smash is a celebration of gaming in general (hence why ROB could make it in), and Goku certainly played a part in there, inspiring *MANY* (kamehameha and hadoken, anyone?).

He might squeak into top 10 depending on when the stats for this seasons rankings start and end, but overall results wise Marss has probably fallen beneath top 10.

Just speculating but I’d imagine the amount of likes was also extremely high for Sora. Byleth probably still had a worse dislikes to likes ratio.

1) Sounds right to me... Yep, 1513. Beat every one without spirits and have the maximum score of 594,776,300. There is not 8,000 at all. [There may have been an 8 in the number at some point.] 2) Knuckles wasn't in Smash 4. Very sure he's new in Ultimate, and people were disappointed he's using the Homing Attack which isn't his skill. Rodin was also introduced in Ultimate (as he's from Bayonetta and she was DLC in 4, no way he's an assist there). 3) Steve with the most dislikes? I'd have thought it was Byleth or Min-Min; people wanted Steve in even if as a joke idea more than anything. Rough character to go against though... [What, Sora? Really?] 4) I do indeed know Animal Crossing was said to be too peaceful, so they couldn't get a character in, and Villager would've been considered as an idea for Brawl. [But he's in Smash 4 with Wii Fit Trainer, then Isabelle came in Ultimate to help market the yet to be released (at the time) New Horizons] 5) Smash 3DS as lowest scoring... I wanna say it's the Wii U that's lowest. 3DS had the better side game of Smash Run. [Smash 64 actually, I believe it. It's a classic, but more recent titles are typically better all around.] 6) I don't think the motion bomb is from GoldenEye? I'm not immensely familiar with either that or Melee, so I'm unsure. 7) Wasn't Luigi lowest traction, very slippery? I didn't even know it was a stat in Smash Bros. [Same here, Marss! This is news to me.] 8) I never learned how to read. Didn't bother answering. [Makes sense Sonic is highest traction though; he goes fast, he needs to stop fast too.] 9) 7 sounds right at first... Samus, Daisy, Pit, Richter, Ken, Chrom, Lucina. [Half of them have minimal differences, but Chrom has a different up special and has a more consistent sword like Lucina, then Ken is practically his own character as much as Link. Called echos anyways.] 10) Sure, that's Smash 4's original theme. Don't think I heard about it though. [Nights Into Dreams... If I played it, I'd have known.] 11) A 2nd jab that's laggy doesn't show up? Makes no sense. [Hrm, will look into this.] 12) Mmm... I don't think there was a GameBoy Smash planned. This is fanmade. 13) Why are you concerned about hunters overshadowing the monsters (what, the one Rathalos)? It's called Monster Hunter. I just think Hunter wasn't in the lineup planned. [Did get in MvC Infinite though] 14) Pac-Man might've been before the Game & Watch... I vaguely remember a scene from his trailer where they looked at each other being in the same year. [No, G&W's 3 months older. Wasn't certain of the dates.] 15) Marss said it's made up... Imma go deliberately against it and say Smash Bros Melee is made after a bar. [I chose wrong. Well, it is based off a bar though? Just not the one Sakurai went to. Surprising.] 16) I don't play Melee, and Melee doesn't play Yoshi. 17) Oh, the cat does exist! Can't remember if it was actually Sakurai's though. [Yep, not his. Darn people assuming it's all about the one dude...] 18) No, it's Marss! He's the best player!

The Villager fact is partially cap. It's indeed true that Villager was considered for Brawl but he hasn't been included because Sakurai didn't know how to portray a fitting gameplay for him in Smash, not because he thought Smash was too violent lmao. The same reason for a Tekken character in Smash 4.
