Maybe cause of nostalgia or maybe the games were actually great, who knows, but I definitely think that amongst a usually lackluster industry like horror which is usually known for being bad in a fun way, fnaf is up there because of the many aspects it brought to the industry like its crazy story, the unique style of games and dedicated community.
