Ok…what size filter do you need for the Sony 24mm 2.8 lens??? And can you provide a link to that specific filter?? You glossed over quite a few details

I have a similar setup. Except for the lens. I use the old Sony 16-35mm OSS. Quite big and heavy. The one you use seems really neat and small. But a G lens is typically expensive. Perhaps I could save up for one. As for the tripod, I use a manfrotto mini. Thanks man

Yea a big reason for going with the cheaper g lens was definitely its size. Having that compact of a full frame set up was really important to me. I would sell the 16-35 and use those funds toward the G lens too. Really worth it!

would the 50mm 2.5G lens be good for travelling and potraits? i am eyeling this lens now. The 24mm doesn't really catch my eye for now haha

sorry for the delay! some how missed the notification for this! Would you be using the 50mm on a full frame sensor? If so i would say its a good all round lens for travel and portraits! If youre on a crop sensor i think the 50 would be too tight
