That catalogue was awesome. I started my small but curated Funko Pop collection (approx 200) with The Muppets and Sesame Street figures. I’m in Australia and they weren’t sold here then ( well not in my state) so I bought them from the US. I also have the Hello Kitty KISS set which are cute 😁😁

Sean, almost need an animatic or time lapse to figure out what you see in your mind as you work out your renovations. You're managing to make it interesting, but sometimes my brain hurts a bit!! My Dad could visualize stuff and then DO IT, but Mom always said, " I have to see it!"

I actually live streamed sorting on the walking channel a few times sorting comics. I enjoy it but also its not the best content overall. I did a ton of live streaming last year. I really enjoyed it but I think it negatively effected my audience which is a bummer.

Me and my daughter were around 25min into the video and we both turned to eachother at the same time and went holy shit he’s making serious progress today 😳 was a nice little moment!! We absolutely loved the video

Because the future value of things is important to me too. I can enjoy it by making videos then put it away safely so it does not get destroyed by dust, light, pests etc. When I was in my 20s I would display tons of things, but things get damaged when on display so I keep it away clean and safe.

I still want to make the right financial decisions. A lot of the Grails I have kept have gone up in value in the last year, and most of the comics have gone down so I am not rushing into the expensive comics as fast as I thought I would.

Growing up I got one every Christmas in my Christmas stocking so I am nostalgic for them. But they are super over produced and common, so its not really a collectible unless you go back to the pre 1980s ones. Those are more rare and take some effort to collect.

I have the one where shes flying on the broom in my collection. She looks to be $25 give or take a few bucks. Endora seems to have some value in the 50-60 range.

I tend to like the cartoon Funko's more than the human ones. The humans are too abstract, just pop eyes and no mouths, like a Roger Corman version of Lovecraft...!!

I recommend making a spreadsheet. I keep a spreadsheet for all my pops and comics (and box locations) so I know exactly what box my stuff is in and don't have to constantly cross out writing on the outside of the box etc. I got tired of not being able to find stuff when it sold and stuff

I had all the pops inside pop price guide with box location, that made it much easier then writing it down. I could scan new pops and see if I had it or not and the location. Its a bit mixed up now, but if I actively get back to collecting them I would do the same thing. For now I mostly use my memory.
