Nice, JUst what I was looking for. I had my first glitch video look garbage this is going to be fun. Just going to need to learn the masking part I never done that.

Yeah masking is a bit of work, but its very worth the effect! I used a masking tool called Runwayml. It masked the girl out in like 3 min lol. I just didnt want to explain how to mask when I have a bunch of videos all about it :)

Thanks a ton for the effect Billy. Here s a vdo request.. Can you pls teach how to edit like Joshua Mayo? Especially how he creates the fake camera movement with the lens zoomimg in and out while the focus adjusts. I've searched a lot but did not find a tut to do that. I could get the camera movement but cannot do the zoom in and out with lens refocusing. Pls help _/\_

Hey man! I love your tutorials! Could you make one about fairy magic wand effect? My guess, it has to do smth with particle generator, but my skills aren't enough to make it look good in Resolve =)

When I try do export a video of 20 seconds it takes minimum of 30 min to export. Any solutions for that. Im on a M2 16G MAC Thanks!

Hey Billy☺️ you be great🤩🤩🤩thanks 4 this great video!🙏🏼 but I have 1 question: Which settings I need in the deliver page, to render the mask? Or is this unimportant and this is just a clip like every other? ( 4 example an mp4 video)🤔 Normally, the mask is in the same project as the glitch effect. Then it's easy and I just have to drag the same video into my timeline 3 times for the effect and edit it the way you showed us in this video. But if I need the masked motif in another project, I have to render it first, right? I hope u will answer, because I need urgent your help 4 this effect🙏🏼 Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪👌🏼

hi Billy i'm very new to davinci 17, can i ask you when i make a cut by mistake how do i undo it please, yes probably easy but i don't no how HEEEEELLP!!!!!

You will need to either click undo (control z on the keyboard) or in the cut, you can click on the point and hit backspace

Hey! Thanks so much! They are really good guys! I know Casey really well! We have had a lot of good talks before! Jamie hasnt really been willing to engage with any other creators. Seems like a good guy, just wants to do his own thing. Alex is awesome! I dont know him well, but the times I have talked to him have been great! Overall, they are really awesome people! Id love to know Alex and Jamie more for sure!
