Lindsay Connali I was thinking of getting more eyeshadows recently and realised of all my palettes, only one had a green shade lmao. And it was a light green, so I still don’t own any dark or true greens. Only then did I realise maybe it really is an unpopular colour. I just got the purple palette from colourpop and have been considering this green one too!

Personally, I'm terrified of the color mustard in both makeup and clothing! I've seen it look pretty on certain people but it seems like one of those colors where it can go south and sickly REAL quick

To me the best way to rock mustard is to pair it with mostly black. That way it won't overwhelm me with what to wear and what not to wear when wearing mustard, lilac, greens and blues. I just pair the colors with black. Black goes with everything. With mustard makeup, just wear your normal transitional colors then put mustard on the lid. It may look safe, but it's beautiful. I think of it as my training wheels when trying new colors. I put two transitional colors in my crease, then put the color I'm interested in exploring. I'm gonna use mustard as an example. I'll put mustard on my lid. Blend it. Put on some brown liner or black liner and mascara and lashes. Do my face like I normally do. Then put on a nude and lipgloss to finish it off.

Same here!! It’s my favorite color and people use to literally make fun of me for wearing green eye shadow when I was in high school 😒😒😒 keep in mind it wasn’t anything super crazy it was like a dark forest green but even if it was crazier green tones who cares it’s fun lol 😂👌🤣
