In my personal experience, I prefer to use a DIY aquarium powerhead, specifically the Cobalt MJ1200, for water polishing. This powerhead, combined with a high-quality filter media such as filter floss, effectively removes any particles from the water, leaving it crystal clear.
However, it is important to note that when using filter floss, it must be replaced every 24 hours to avoid clogging. By following these methods, you can maintain clear and healthy water in your aquarium for your aquatic pets to thrive in.
