I've been editing for almost 2 years now to make my own videos, and I've been teaching myself final cut as I go with the occasional help from a KZfaq tutorial. I've been looking to level up both to improve my own video quality and to hopefully edit for other creators one day. and this video is by far the mot helpful one I've ever watched!!! I'm so grateful for all these tips, thank you so much! I've only fiddled around with Photoshop so far... for meme making purpose. I haven't done any video editing yet, even though the idea of starting a KZfaq channel has been on my mind for a long time. Not gonna lie, the amount of layering shown in the timeline part is very intimidating. How can you tell you've reached the point where you can say "Okay this project is done"?

I can normally tell it’s done when I achieve the overall vision in my head aha. Some videos I plan on being “extra” and some I like to keep on the minimal side. Personally if a video doesn’t give me at least 2-3 headaches while making it, it’s not done LMAO

It’s the built in text effects in Final Cut!! I believe it’s just called “typewriter” and I change the font and type time !!

idk about you, but they didn't teach us nesting in school. someone showed us their timeline of their cool transition and i was so overwhelmed with all the layers for it lol

You can do the same on photoshop as well:) or even Canva. same rules apply, Just save each layer as a png and multiply it in ur editing system !
