I have the LaCie external hard drive and for some reason it sometimes ejects from my computer. Do you think you may know why?

Ever since I started on photography business I always had all my files backed up on 2 hard drives and backed up online for the original shots And the same for the edited his shots Up until last year I thought I was paranoid until a model requested photos from a shoot from seven years ago and I found out one of the hard drives was corrupted And once I find out the hard drive isn’t the working I buy a new hard drive and back it up Always safe than sorry

try using solid state drives, a bit more expensive but are more reliable and long lasting

@@dani.4453 Yes... but when it fails... it fails. There's almost no chance of retrieving your files in contrast to HDD which gives you this chance.

Also don't forget hard drives and SSD still degrade if not in use.

SSD's are easily damaged and hard drives need occasional firmware updates.

Love how u explained what brand u use by saying linked down below. U should say the brand name first and what u use it for rather us guessing wich one u use it for. Im just saying that it isn't helpful by saying its down below and explaining what u use for. U should say what brand u use and have us look at the brand ourselves from the link below
