Fakies (going backwards) are accomplished both with a freecoaster or with a cassette, the only difference is that you don’t need to pedal backwards with the freecoaster, just the cassette. It doesn’t make it easier or harder it’s just diffefent

@@AlfredoMancuso ok, so just normal riding it acts the same though? It's just a smoother design ? . Some reason I have it in my head it pedals backwards or will lock up jumping. Looks like it would be lighter too. Thanks bro

@@DirtDigglerDetecting You wont have any pedal pressure when the hub is disengaged, it's comparable to riding chainless. Personally I love coasters only been riding for 3 months

@@stealthguru3974 Thank you. We used to take the brake shoes out of the old school coaster brake and make freewheel out of those hubs. 48 and just started riding again.
