We were having a blast with our Arrma Outcast 4s v2, but Sultan the Pit Pony proved to be a tough opponent, and our Outcast came back limping.
Luckily, we had the support of Turbo RC, a great shop with amazing service. They made sure we got the parts we needed as soon as possible, and in just 2 days, we were able to get our Outcast running again. We were over the moon!

Crashed my brand new Kraton 4S on first run yesterday and damaged the chassis in the same place as you and broke the top and bottom of the left shock. Absolutely gutted, but ordering the replacement parts today and will use your very detailed vid to rebuild. A bit daunting for me as I am new to RC! Really grateful for your video and tips though, will make the process much easier - thank you!

@@owen8538 sorry mate I disagree on the 3s range the 4s is a better truck , as for the chassis on the v2 yes there was a issue but if you swap over to the v2.5 there much better . As for the 6s range well that’s like comparing apples to oranges Not the same thing yes there fruit but that’s about it , what I mean by this is plastic chassis to metal is not a fair comparison buddy

Get onbud yeah I done exactly the same my a arm hanging of looked just like urs I got kraton v2 4s m2c brace? Now I've got to get chassis pain good vids is it easy to change only done x maxx 8s b nice to hear ur reply thankyou shaun uk plymouth

hey buddy, no i use the CRCU bash bar but still even with a strong brace a bad landing will still do away with the suspension arm. thanks very much for watching! stay awesome chris :)

If you want to make it as tough as you can you need to get the Hot Racing diffs. They are helical and much stronger than the stock diffs are.

Well to be honest , there are a few way to prevent a lot of issues . i will say as well ive got the krayton 4s v2.5 now and to be fair its rock solid . from what ive been told the new v2.5 outcast chassis is very much the same they have made it stronger now . might be worth you giving the new chassis a go . Hi! It’s not to thin oil in the front? 10k and 30k on the rear? You want more power on the rear? Or sleeping clutch make all the work for the traction? Thanks and all the best!

Hey man , ive used 10k in the front and 30k along with the 10k that was in there as arrma are notorious for not putting the right amount in there trucks , so this would make roughly 20k . the reason behind this gives the rear a little more traction for wheelies and jumping . Hey there buddy , Ok so yes it does seem like this is a weakness on the outcast and Krayton 4s chassis . I’ve been sending them very high mind for that to happen so to be expected it would stress the toughest of chassis . I kinda know my limits with this truck and it’s not put me off now . I use longer suspension pins I found stock are to short an are easily ripped out of the retainer snapping the chasis I use 6s pins an drill the chassis a few mm deeper an it’s worked great tlr typhon pins are perfect fit their a tad bit shorter then the rest of the 6s cars… I have a lot of content on these on my channel check it it Chris with a C

@@ChriswithaCrc no problem my friend I went thru 3 chassis b4 i figured it out an if that retainer is the littlest bit messed up replace it m2c test teams have replacement retainers right now so those will be available soon too

Is this the ”v2.5” version? And is many of the screws the same on the car?

Hey buddy , yes the process is the same the only difference is the centre differential there are 3 screws underneath that you’ll need to loosen on the v2.5 . Hope this helps Stay awesome Chris 🤙🚀💪🤘

Hey there buddy , ok so the Vorteks is classed as the SWB just like the granite , and this is what arrma class as the MWB , which is shorter that the Big rock v3 and then you have the krayton which is the longest . Hope that this helps Chris :)

Meanwhile, I have been waiting since June for a new chassis. Still not available but you can buy a new car. Typical Arrma scam.
