One advantage you forgot to mention with regards to the hexblade. The hexblade grants Martial Weapon proficiency as well as Medium Armor and Shield proficiency.

Yeah, looks like Fathomless and Undead where made to "Replace" (or otherwise fill the gaps) the Undying and Goo respectively. Loved the video, i'm going to watch that playlist rn, needing info bout Locks.

If you can tell the difference between the undead and the undying warlocks then I'm sure you already know quite a lot of D&D stuff.

I think you can see this with the hexblade as well. It was really just there to fix pact of the blade so people could play bladelock. So when you put it like that we have archfey, fiend, genie, the fix for GOO, the fix for undying, the fix for bladelock and celestial. And really that is it. Just waiting on the "archfey fix" now lol.

Fathomless will always feel like an echo of the UA version of it for me, but it's oozing with flavor, which is the main fun in playing it. Hexblade may be limiting but the great part of being a warlock is you have tons of customization options to make up in places where you're lacking, and it succeeds greatly in what it does and looking at multiclass potential, hexblade is a cut above. I certainly agree with you on Undying and GOO warlocks, they have certain subclass abilities that may never get used in a campaign, which is an unfortunate effect of quite a few phb subclass and class features. I'm curious to hear your ranking for the Undead warlock, which I think is one of the best of the bunch. Unfortunately, the utility spells warlocks get in certain subclasses are limited by the fact that they don't get them added to their spell list, only their spells they can choose them, often having to prioritize other spells over their subclass utility ones.

Where is the Undead warlock? It came way after the Undying but is completely different and was actually the main one I was watching for lol

Isn't "The Undead" subclass still from an official book? I know it's in Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft which is a setting sourcebook like Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide so it should probably be counted. Anyways, will you be ranking that subclass in the future?

The undead is totally a different subclass and I have a seperate video covering it. I'll be honest with you, I forgot about it because I don't have Van Ritchens guide to Ravenloft on my D&D beyond account lol.

Remember folks tiefling duo genie warlock with the racial feat = resistant to poison cold fire and bludging damage all da tanking now I just need to find a way to gain resistance to piercing and slashing and I'll be good
