I read all the comments about the binaural test freaking people out but no one actually described what it sounds like so I had no idea what to expect, I just knew it would freak me out. Then I heard it and it was not at all what I expected and sounded waaayyy too real. Freaked me out but not in the way I was anticipating.

I literally got up to check my door at 10:02, then I stopped and slowly turned back to my headphones like "rly..."

The last test! 😂 I had not understood what he was telling me, and could have sworn someone was knocking on the wall!

Tested with Betron HD800. I always felt this headset was superb quality for such a low price but could never quantify why until this video. It passed all the tests here but if that last test (Binaural) really does showcase a quality headphone then this passed with flying colours because I absolutely FREAKED OUT!

oh my goodness. I read the comments, checked the door, twice. played the noise and still crapped my pants. What's worse is that the noises came from exact locations of a door and window respectively.

I knew the binaural test was coming and I still freaked out, my heart *actually* dropped It's 3:26 AM and I do not live on the ground floor. I'm never sleeping again.

Noticed my headsets kept cutting out on the left, was disappointed as they're only a few months old and, despite having toddlers around I've been quite careful with them. Thanks to this video I was able to pinpoint the trouble as not the headset itself but the cord connecting it to my pc, since bluetooth didn't have the same issue.

Amazing!!! I have a 15 years old headphone and it almost passed all the tests! IEspecially, 'm very impressed by the last test! The knocking door sound was almost real in the house and I looked at the walls immediately after the sound! I was thinking to change my headphone since I think it is very older and it must be old technology but it really impressed me!

Ok wow this really helped me to confirm there really is something wrong with my new earbuds. They failed the left/right test and binaural was not too convincing compared to my other two earphones. On those binaural made me jump up from the sofa, it really caught me off guard. Thanks a bunch and you just earned yourself a sub :D amazing content

holy sh!t that binaural test had me whipping my head around looking for the noise.

According to your voice I can hear from 10 Hz up to 18kHz but that can not be true at my age of 32 years. :-D In the dynamic range test I got it down to 66 dB. I was able to hear you whispering beyond that but not clear enough to hear the words you said. My drivers did not rattle but my external sound card was too weak to give the drivers enough powers, so there only was distortion. The binaural test was epic! xD My headphones are the Sony MDR-7506

Oops, youtube automatically cuts off everything above +-17KHz and everything below a certain DB limit as part of it's implemented compression algorithm. Due to this, both High Frequency Response & Dynamic Range tests in this video cannot be used to accurately test any headphone.

I have been deeply unimpressed by many if not all binaural demos. Today I played the phase test on this site. Then I rewired my phones. Oh wow... I get it now !

The binaural test was so good I thought someone was knocking at my door. Perfect. This should be standard when testing headphones. Use a binaural microphone to record the entire 'ULTIMATE HEADPHONE TEST' and then use gain vs frequency curves to quantitatively analyze the headphone response.

I could hear the 10Hz test. However my superpower seems to have exchanged the ability to hear above 13.5KHz. This may also indicate that the Bluetooth APTX HD codec cuts anything above 13.5K, which is interesting.
