I'm blown away at the small details that you go into. It's very nice too hear someone address the vehicle as a "system" instead of just parts. Makes me wish I had a HellCat just to send your way.

So happy to hear your opinion on those mid muffler deletes. Don't see how people would cut up a stock performance exhaust on a new 70k plus car! When I bought my 1st Hellcat used the previous owner had done the mid muffler delete. Dang car sounded loud and obnoxious to me; so I went out and put some Mufflers back on it. The car sounded better and ran better with mufflers on it. The car definitely felt like it gained some low end torque.

I cant tell you how much I appreciate the extra care and respect you give to the customer's car, as if it was your personal car. I am very particular about my vehicles, and there is always anxiety when I hand one over to someone else to perform work.....that's probably why I try to do everything myself if I can.

Just because I consider this channel as one that is honest and always puts down the effort to say things the way they are, I'm going to write down a few things the way I've experienced them through my years of tuning cars. Before I start , I want to express the fact that I 99% I agree with what Brent states in his videos. Firstly, I wish to point out that a thermostat should be at least a 5-10 celcius lower thermostat than the expected temps the engine will be running at with it fully open and with the engine at normal driving and not at full thrust. Secondly, the engine's water temps should have a difference of only 3-5 celcius between normal driving and full thrust,(multiple sequential full boost pulls) if the engine's temps go way above that difference at full boost pulls, then one needs to address the engine's cooling system. Thirdly, a water temp sensor should be after the thermostat, either on thermostat housing, or located further down the line.Fourthly there are enough factors that affect the choosing of a thermostat, fan type and cfm efficiency, radiator efficiency, type and size, and cooling system in general. I have mentioned them in a post of a previous video. Ambient temps is one of those factors that affect the creation of the right cooling system. Although an engine water temp will warm up and eventually reach the intended degrees, I'd like to point out that in relation to climates that have certain temp difference, ambient temps is a strong factor of creating the right cooling system when the ambient temps are far apart. For instance although one can run an engine with no thermostat in Florida with no ill-effects, one cannot do that in Alaska. In regards to boost, boost is the restriction an engine creates in relation to the amount of air pushed into it. A high volumetric efficiency setup will provide less restriction to the same amount of air in regards to a lower efficiency setup. Most people confuse boost with power, it is far from reality. One can run more boost with X amount of power, then run less boost with more amount of power. How is this possible one might ask? It is possible because power is directly related to flow and quality/composition of air and not to boost. Boost is just a consequence that happens. The reason people use boost as a reference point, it is because it is a characteristic that is measured and is easily available to anyone. One might have boost on his setup but not enough flow to make the power his setup is supposed to be making according to the boost it is running. To explain this further, here is an example: On the same setup, on the same fuel, one simply exchanges turbochargers, going from a smaller one to a bigger one, both share the same wheel type of the same efficient aerodynamic design, same materials used, same trims, same ratios and design on exhaust and compressor housings, with the only difference being the surface area, being a bigger turbo that is. The specific big turbo setup will make more power at the same boost or same power at less boost than when the same setup did with the smaller turbocharger, and of course a lot more power as the bigger turbo is pushed. The same thing will happen, more power that is at the same boost, if one keeps the same turbo on a setup but alters its V.E, through the use of aftermarket camshafts, air filter system, porting, headwork, exchanging out any type of restrictive parts etc, this will mean more power at the same boost, because flow will go up. Also again if one uses same size of turbocharger but with much better characteristics in regards to efficiency and flow, same boost more power, although it is most of the times much better to go to a larger unit. This is because the bigger turbo has a higher mechanical flow efficiency, it provides the engine with more flow of air, better air composition of air( less heat more oxygen molecules) at the same boost than the smaller turbo. Heated air molecules take up space, not allowing more fresh air to enter. More flow and better/dense air, means directly more power. When a turbocharger heats up the air too much, it creates boost as air molecules expand, and although hot air moves faster, the expansion overcomes its speed, it cancels it out in a sense and creates static pressure, boost that is, and it hinders, restricts flow. So to summarize this point, more boost does not necessarily mean more power, more flow/volume and better air does. Another point is that In turbocharged cars because the turbo relies solely on exhaust gasses characteristics, the less the restriction and back-pressure, the more the flow and or boost. There is only one parameter in regards to exh. gas reversion (not to be confused with back pressure) one should take into consideration when designing an exhaust system, and that is when one is using a really large turbocharger on fairly small capacity engine, but this is a subject matter for another discussion. I also prefer tube and fin type of intercoolers instead of the bar and blade ones, always with excellent internal design of fins, excellent aluminum grade, proper fin per cm ratio, along with excellent design of end tanks. I prefer the tube and fin type for a road or time attack/circuit racing car, as this type allows more air to go through it and reach the radiator which normally sits behind it. If my post/opinion offends in any way and it is considered redundant, feel free to remove it. Good video as always.

Brenton, why anyone who owns a Dodge Hellcat, Redeye or Demon platform (or any other car you are willing to mod) and is looking to add more power AND RELIABILITY would trust anyone other than you and your team to do the mods, is wasting money!!! The fact that you have even given away some trade secrets in your videos proves that you are not worried about the competition because at your level, you really have no competition!!! You clearly offer the best quality and performance packages available!! The detailed information in your videos proves you have the best combination of quality, performance, knowledge and attention to detail of anyone in your industry!! I’m looking forward to eventually visiting your shop and meeting you although I’m not sure what car I’ll have for you to work on when I visit but rest assured, no one else but you and your team will modify my car. Tremendous quality through and through.. if I had the money I’d literally ship my 15 HC 6M Challenger to Forza for upper, and lower pulley’s, custom cam, ported blower, injectors, plugs, long tubs, triple clutch trans upgrade, Barton shifter, one pice Driveshaft, diff brace, 93 forza tune, etc.. I’d be content with a reliable 775Whp/Wtq daily drivable Manual HC. I never plan on tracking my car, but I do like to take a leisurely stroll through “Mexico;)” now and then.
