Yes, a lifelong passion! I eat, sleep, and breathe horses.🐴 The bikes fill my cup in a similar way, and I’m all for 100mph knee scraping through every turn and will jump on every opportunity to do that as well. Because…balance 🙃

@@SALTxTHExWOUND I wish I could post a few pics on here of my daughter riding her to win grand champion at Canterbury. Both of them love competing and love their Daddy. It’s extremely rewarding as a father. It was by chance I happened to start training horses. (Our forever mare’s name is “Shadow” for a reason. She couldn’t stop following me everywhere on our property the first three to four years). She loves giving us kisses n hugs. They’re amazingly intelligent creatures. Enjoy and respect their company and they’ll love you forever and, even include you in their herd/family forever.

Not the op but, we use a snaffle bit on our Arabian. She’s slightly soft in the mouth.

@@Vibrotronic I went to boarding school on a ranch right outside of Escondido called rawhide ranch and the horses I worked with were contestants in the snaffle bit futurity, like Cody‘s clone chub chocolate Ricky bonanza and Mr. Kings barbell just to name a few of the ones I had to work in the horse palace of course this was many many years ago and it was Chown quarter horses with Robert Chown and his brother and his dad Clarence Chown. I also wanted to know if killer Miller was involved with stock and reining and or if she did any cutting or what discipline does she primarily due in regards to working her horse and if she travels to events. PS please excuse all my grammatical errors, dictating this to Siri while driving and I am unable to edit. I primarily mess with the off-road toys, but my wife has many horses and when I’m not going off-road on my toys, we spend lots of time at our property where we keep the horses. I’m the one that commented back when you traded in your big truck and informed you that I was in the middle of driving my TRX and that time my wife and I were on our way to ride the horses, I think it was the one who you’re talking about your husbands Ford ranger, or might’ve been the one where you were talking about your new Mustang

Good question! This is a loose ring snaffle, as simple as it gets. I keep every horse I ride in the simplest bit possible. We’ll be back in a double bridle (with two bits) for the upper level work, but we’re rebuilding strength currently and will continue in the simple snaffle for as long as possible.

Interesting question. I was actually thinking about the bit/bridle combo as I watched the video. My mother, back in the day, would use a hackmore bit and bridle setup whenever possible.
