Hey Hyper! You can definitely run Hydrain in budget kits, you just need to keep in mind that you won’t be healing anywhere near as much as you would be with Life drain compared to a higher damage kit. Of course you still benefit from the lower health costing spells and you’ll be able to use Hydra actively compared to TM. I’d recommend trying them both out and see which one you prefer. 😁 Thanks for tuning in! ❤

It works beautifullyyyy, been using it in my videos for a while now. Might start implementing some classic OSRS music in there too. And I can confirm that magical healing doesn't affect Life Drain at all, it has 0% scaling with it. It is however, affected by Vampirism 😁 thanks for tuning in bro!

@@CrowPlaysStuff it’s because the formula for working out how much you heal (from curses and life drain) is completely separate to vampirism. Essentially, all vampirism does is multiply the result of your healing by 1.2, it doesn’t actually touch the stat it self. Let’s say you heal 4hp per tick from curse, with vampirism its 4 * 1.2 = 4.8 per tick. Healing a total of 30hp from life drain * 1.2 = 36. I’d recommend checking out the sheet in the description so you can have a toy about with the numbers with/without vampirism so you can see how it works. The formula for working out curse heals is veryyyy complicated haha

The healing you receive from Life Drain is defined as Magical Healing, however the spell itself has 0% scaling with the Magical Healing Stat so if you build it into your kit it will have zero impact. Vampirism increases your Magic Healing *Bonus* by 20% so it increases your Life Drain healing by 20%. A bit confusing I know, but I hope that makes sense I made a video to prove that Vampirism works with Life Drain as a lot of players have gotten confused on how this works. Hello brother! For me, Curse of Pain is in every single Warlock build I run; I'll never swap it out for anything. Curse of Pain is a hitscan spell which means it has zero travel time/no projectile and hits where you aim your mouse; therefore its easier to land. It also isn't affected by Locational Damage Modifiers so it'll do the max damage whether you hit somebody in the foot or in the head. Bolt of Darkness does have higher base damage than Curse of Pain but it was a larger hitbox which is great when trying to hit people from a distant but bad up close as it's easier to block and can collide with other mobs and terrain really easily. 16:34 is a really good example of this: my first bolt hits him from across the room, second one misses, third one manages to clip the terrain and fourth one hits a mob in the head when it looks like it should go straight over. It's also affected by Locational Damage Modifiers so unless you hit someone in the chest or the head, you'll always be doing less damage. Considering in most cases you'll be fighting up close and in tight positions, CoP is the best pick up most of the time. Of course you're more than welcome to experiment yourself but this is all based on my own experienced. Hope that helps! 😁

Same here bro! TM in low gear lobbies feels great but once I'm playing more competitively in HR Life drain is the way to go

It's definitely a harder class to get competitive with contrary to popular believe! Movement speed is absolute BIS but so is spell-casting speed/knowledge because when you're channeling your spells it slows your movement speed; learning how to BHOP really helps with kiting too. Are you using Flamewalker as well? In fights you want it up pretty much the whole time so its harder for classes to run you down. You also want to use phantomise to counter when other classes use their skills against yours. For example, Barbarian Rage, Fighter Sprint etc. It's definitely gonna take some games to get used to it but I'm sure you've got it brother 🙏

Hmmm you make a good point. However, I am curious on how the increased AR and MR compares to the extra health I'm getting from the Adventurer's Tunic; the extra health also helps with increasing the health pool for spells too. Good looking out though, will definitely keep this in mind ☝

Hello brother! My heart will always be with Caster/Torture Mastery; healing whilst fighting on the move is great and when you've got an insane kit you genuinely feel like a Raid Boss. It does tend to be a lot more expensive to build a kit in comparison to Hydrain though, so I have a sweet spot for Hydrain for its easability to build a good kit at a lower expense too 😁 Thanks for tuning in my friend!

I said that Life Drain doesn't scale with Magical Healing. Vampirism gives a 20% increase to Magical Healing *BONUS* which includes Life-drain healing, Torture Mastery Healing and Potions. If you check out my latest video, you can see that I tested this myself and proved that it does increase Life Drain healing. There's a difference between Magical Healing and Magical Healing Bonus. Hope that helps clear things up 😁
