Timmins is a town located in mid-northern Ontario with a population of 41,141 (2021).
Timmins airport is a regional airport connecting small regional towns along the Hudson Bay to the rest of Canada (via Toronto).
The airport sees more than 200,000 people annually with over 25,000 aircraft movement a year. The airport is also home base for Air Creebec and Thunder Airlines which operates passenger, cargo and charter services around Ontario.
The airport is also used for Medevacs, General Aviation and charter services. By far the most interesting aircraft that flies here is Air Creebec HS-748 Hawkers.
The airport has 2 runways; 03/21 (6000ft) and 10/28 (4,907ft). The airport also has NavCanada FSS located at the terminal. Runway 03 is the only runway with an ILS. The rest are RNAV (GNSS) and VOR/DME.
