@@YuriNoirProductions Yep! Its going to be covering stuff using a few similar techniques as the last one, but this time it'll be focusing on how to turn realistic and photoscanned assets into a more handpainted style. I'm working on a bigger tutorial, so this one is a little snack before the main course!

great video! loved the process. I think you should have a look at real life sculpting techniques and see if you can apply them in Zbrush as there were a few techniques you used in the video that could have been done instantly with the right application of a specific brush.

Depending on the size of the rocks, some details might be a bit overkill. Overall very helpful video, thx For the final alpha, could you put a filter on the white to make the edges fade slightly so you don't have such a sharp result in Zbrush?

I'm trying to apply these tefchniques to my project and I just don't get how you're able to get such nice and sharp planes on the skull. Mine always end up wobbly and messy.

How do you seem to be preventing Flatten from cutting into perpendicular surfaces? For example around 12:20 when you start cleaning up the side of that extruded surface using Flatten, normally it would cut down into the lower surface, but for you it doesn't seem to.

Hey you can try going to Brush on the top left corner in zbrush then open Auto Masking menu and then enable Backface Mask it will only work for the current brush so you will need to enable it for each brush. Don't know another solution but this should help a bit at least

A lot of passes with flatten brush. Fanny Vergne will do flatten passes constantly, and Michael Vicente just uses flatten with really high strengh as his main brush.
