I've always liked making guides and PvMing, so let's mix the two together and here we are. Hopefully you guys enjoy this Kraken guide that I made, I am planning to do more bossing guides going forward after I finish up doing them on my other account so that I can form a well versed opinion on the bosses before I make the guide. There was a recent update where you don't need to bring a msb and arrows if you don't want to. You can now use fishing explosives on the kraken and that will awaken all 4 tentacles and the Kraken. You can buy them from any slayer master and they're super cheap. This saves a little bit of time.

03:34 For the lower tier set up, anyone who doesn't want to spend like 16mm on a twisted buckler, but also wants decent defence, you can get an odium ward for 3m. Twisted buckler - 26 magic defence - 16m odium ward - 24 magic defence - 3m Sara godbook - 8 magic defence - just about free

Also, to anyone trying to get the 100 KC without leaving. There is an easy way to do this without running out of food. If you bring ancients, you can do blood spells on the submerged kraken for infinite healing.

i dont get why twisted buckler. it gives negative magic bonus also he is using magic shortbow which is a 2 hand weapon.

Another thing to extend trips for those that don’t have sang staff is bring blowpipe and spec one of the tentacles for some extra HP

There's a fairy ring right behind G.E tunnel shortcut so just have a mounted glory on your wall if you don't have a fairy ring in your house

I would say 1 thing missing is the empty rune pouch to put in the rune drops. On the lower setups

Fire surge with tome and kodai is also very good at kraken and only 20ish more gp per cast than toxic trident and higher dps. Can smack 52s

Sang staff with BIS mage gear, imbued heart and inventory of high healing food should do. Kraken also drops sharks fairly commonly.

I think he's going with defensive stats over offensive stats. Kraken is pretty easy to damage regardless of your bonuses but you take less damage and can stay way longer with better def bonuses.

Yeah, you can. It is just pricier. Nice thing about Kodai/Master/Ancient staff though is you can cast blood spells as a replacement for blowpipe too if you want to keep your hp up. Personally, it is better as a switch I think.

Out of curiosity, I haven't seen a guide using the ancient wyvern shield, but it seems quite good, with 15 mage & mage def bonuses. Why is no one talking about it?

The magic attack doesn't benefit and there are much higher magic defense shields in similar price ranges.

quick tip: check the prices of foods that heal the same amount because prices are constantly changing. currently, summer pies are cheaper than pineapple pizzas but they heal the same amount.

Would love to see sara next. Currently at 150 kc averaging 10-13 kills a trip but I feel like it could be better. Using arma pegs anguish suffering serpent helmet to venom minions and acb with ruby and diamond dragon bolts

Runescape is a game, you can play it however you so choose. I enjoy killing things, however, skilling and questing is excruciatingly dull and highly unattractive. I'll get rich, bossing with my 94 slayer, that's how i like to play runescape.

So it isn't really fair to call a guide "bs" just because he didn't take into in consideration the handicaps you decided to impose on yourself

You don't NEED a trident to kill it, it's just nice to have for faster kills. You could kill Kraken with anything that autocasts spells. The boss is piss easy.

So it isn't really fair to expect a guide to take into in consideration all the possible handicaps someone may impose on themselves. + the main point of boss guides is to show the boss mechanics (sure kraken doesn't have any) and gear setups... you can literally search all the possible ways to get there either by looking it up on the wiki or in game minimap
